Oh definetly. You played Operation Flashpoint? THAT is buggy. I hope no game ever suffers like that ever again. But I think it will be good. And theres always updates that come out to fix things like minor bugs.

Oh hell yeah. All the Opflash/ArmA games are tremendously buggy, and often it isn't even Bohemia that fixes them, it's the community. They're still masterpieces though.

You find that a lot with great PC games, they're buggy as fuck, but they're so engrossing and deep that people in the community recognize this and work on making it better. Which is why I think Oblivion Lost is perhaps the greatest mod ever. It transforms STALKER, which was a great game in its own right, into an almost perfect game, and not only makes it playable, but also improves on almost every strength STALKER had.

So if Metro 2033 gets anywhere that level of support, it'll be as great as STALKER was.

Well I'm hoping it isn't too buggy then. I'm getting the Xbox version. Not because my PC can't handle it (by any means), but because I can't do keyboard too well. My hands are messed up and I can get in an hour before I have to stop. So hopefully it's clean and/or they update it.

When I saw the trailer, I knew at that moment that I'd be getting it.

Pretty much everyone in the STALKER community is going to get this, it looks so juicey and a nice depature from western "BANG BANG 'needless heroics'boom! 'awkard romance sideplot'" that all games seem to be made up of

it looks to be stalker, with a little sacrifice on originality to have a far better graphics engine
between this and STALKER:CoP, if you are interesting in GOOD FPSs, 2010 is a good year for you (and me)
comes out a week today, me being a dirty european peasant
it should be reliably good, by the amount of innovative features (lack of hud, bullets as currency, etc) it might overload its way past the mainstream gamers
but i will play it, as it was STALKER:SoC that showed me how bland halo was, and i feel i owe the developers
its a shame i cant afford a PC powerful enough for it, i have to get it on the Xbox 360. while it will be great, no PhysX, no directX 11, when i get a job, i am getting a gaming PC

Wow, I didn't realise it was coming out so soon!

its getting no where near the publicity it deserves. hopefully yahtzee will do it, although it might get swept back under the couple other big releases coming out now. then hell only review it later if he likes it

It's not a day-one purchase for me, I'll probably wait for reviews, but it looks promising.
