There is a high level of corruption down there. Think Gotham city except mexican.

Yes, I've been playing too much Batman when one of the first things I think about is Gotham.


OT: Bloggers getting killed isn't the worst thing about it. By what I've heard, the situation is extremely bad especially in Mexico City. The police and rivals of the gang are being killed or bribed daily. The bloggers are just another example of what will happen when these people are left unchecked.

I've watched every episoe of that show the night of airing, but for people just getting into the show...well, I just know that I would be incredibly pissed if I clicked that video and hadn't progressed that far yet. It is a mega spoiler.

You need to either put a big, bold, all caps spoiler warning in there, or remove the video entirely.

Given that the violence is spilling over into the U.S. I posit that fighting that specific cartel as we would Al Quadea should be our next move.

What the fucking fuck. Okay so it appears that the situation in mexico is so fucked, that drug cartels are now murdering bloggers for criticizing them. Anonymous, or a cell of it, declared war on the cartel after it kidnapped a member of the group. The cartel seemed to call the bluff of anonymous and decided to murder him and hang his body from a bridge where two other bloggers were murdered.

God damn it Mexico. This after all the news I posted about the cartels kidnapping young men from busses to force them into underground gladiatorial arenas.

So thoughts?

Anonymous has all ready backed off and the cartel has released the hostage Anonymous wanted them to release.

They've been killing bloggers before Anonymous ever bothered them.

Wait, really? The Cartel actually gave into anonymous' demands, everything went swimmingly, and no-one was hurt? That's awesome.

Too bad about this unrelated blogger, though. I guess the universe had to balance out a nice no-bloodshed tale with one like this.
