If I was him, I'd have left in shame after the first sign of disapproval by members with more posts then me, but that's only because I'm self-conscious. He on the other hand seemed to be a bit more confident, to the level of Rambo.

Same ideology then? If you stand on a big boulder(read as: community), fire at every Vietnam(read as: criticize every user who doesn't approve of you) you see, and shout as loud(read as: Say as many shenanigans as you can) then you become immune to everything? (read as: get banned?...Wait...).

I doubt the escapist would ban a user who has people clamoring to post about his reviews. I mean, one guy even signed up just to post in this topic. What happened to that guys idea, "Lets not post in his topics anymore!". If we do that I guarantee he'd give up.

If he is banned, well, great. We can all get on with our lives now.

He'd probably resort to bumping his own topics/creating new ones. Sure, we could ignore him, but the drama that ensues is just bloody hilarious, especially Enigmatic Apple's parody. Who honestly doesn't approach an MGG (Moogly Googly Great) topic looking for a good laugh?

You know how, at the end of a horror movie trailer, there's two people hiding in a closet, panting and bloodied, and one of them says 'I think he's gone...' and suddenly a hand bursts through the door and they scream? You know? I'm pretty sure that's not gonna happen here- I think, chaps and chappesses, he is gone.

It was good while it lasted though. We'll simply have to find other things to talk about. Speaking of which...(cheeky plug mode on) I've put a review/memory lane stroll of Morrowind up, so give it a look. Feedback appreciated, as ever (cheeky plug mode off). My conscience can justify hijacking the thread for my own publicity, simply because it's been about 28 posts since this thread was anything resembling being on-topic.

Mate, I'm trying to stop people talking about you- I even renamed that thread I made because I felt bad about it. But the more you post in this thread, and the more I post explaining it, then the more people will read the thread. If people post it's just going to stay at the top of the list- vicious circle.

Secondly, I really don't think people will believe you didn't create that account. I saw both profiles myself, and unless you have an identically named twin you don't know about it but who uses your xbox live account while you're out of the house I think you've been caught in the act. Put your hands up and admit it, there's no shame in it in the grand scheme of things.

Lastly, putting aside your grammar mistakes, I honestly don't think you're ready to write reviews like that yet. Like someone else said, you need to start a bit smaller and work you're way up to it. Get some opinions on things- if you're 12, and I don't mean this cruelly, I don't think you've had enough life experience to give your reviews enough zing. There's nothing wrong with being 12, but if you're going to try and do things you're not ready for then chances are people will criticise you. So pace yourself.

Maybe it's time a mod put this thread down?

Okay, fine, innocent 'til proven guilty and all that, it's not really my concern. Saying you did lie a lot but you didn't lie about THAT is hardly going to fill many people with confidence, though. If you are telling the truth I would run a thorough spyware and virus check on your computer, change your passwords and fortify your firewall, so as to stop whoever did this doing it again.

That was me, and i still think its a good idea, but seeing how nobody really used it, I guess my posting here really makes no difference so...

1. His thereads were a big reason that i signed up for an account. I wanted to be able to flame him myself, and not let all the other people have all of the fun.

2. A few other people signed up for the same reason so i dont think that the escapist will ban him. He is almost as famous as Yahtzee (for all the wrong reasons) and is attracting people to the site. Which is the whole reason Yahtzee was brought here is it not? He is doing the same thing for the escapist as Yahtzee is on a smaller scale of course, and he is doing it for free. So, aside from the occasional angry person, MGG=REVIEWS is actually helping the escapist.

Aww man, I hope that's not true. I don't whether I'd find it more distressing if:
i) he was some sort of plant, cynically put here by the Escapist to draw traffic, or...
ii) he's just a 12 year old kid who's getting the piss ripped out of him by a load of people who've never met him, and the Escapist are letting it happen to draw traffic. And I was one of the people ripping the piss.

Maybe I'm just an idealist though. Either way, he's not doing himself any favours.

Okay. So i'll admit I mainly joined the forums in order to flame this guy, but I actually almost kind of feel sorry for him. So I'll just point out what's wrong in his review.

The downside to this is you cannot enter the burning crusade until your level 45 or more.

Also a problem for horde character is the portal to the burning crusade is near alliance areas and that means you have to fight all the way to the portal (unless of course your in a realm that has taken control of the area around the portal in that case your fine).

Blood elves- the blood elves have been fighting off the forsaken for years. These undead zombies, lets say, have cut their arcane power from the elves the elves then fled from their lands and banded together witch creates the blood elves. The blood elves have the cute but deadly look on them and an level up really quickly. So if you ever have a blood elf on your team don?t trust him with your life.

Just... er.. what? They level at the same speed as every other race... Whether they should be trusted or not depends on the player and they don't look cute *nod* They look gay. And check on the roleplay realms. The number of people roleplaying as gay blood elves. Seriously, it blows the mind.. I might be getting off topic here. >.>

Draenei- have crashed landed their ship on azeroth and the crash has shattered the population down to about a hundred (not including online gamers). The Draenei made a commitment to the light and joined the alliance in there campaign against the horde and the burning legion. The Draenei have unique magic abilities witch when you level up can be pretty amazing. The amour they get later in the game can also make you look like a god.

A bonus to the burning crusade is it has a main story line for you to follow. Now I think the bonus to a main story is-it is something to follow (like a parent or something) and when you finish it you then roam the place freely or not do the story at all. The first world of warcraft didn?t have a main story and so a new player who had been playing RPG?S to much aka-like me, would get confused and not know were to go.

What?! No. No no no no. The original world of warcraft had a story. It was just longer, so lazy people didn't follow it. The high-end dungeons and raids were especially filled with back-story crap. World of Warcraft now has 3-inch-thick novels about the story if you'd care to go buy them... which I did, to my nerdy shame.

Now with all these new quest, items and amour so I think you would enjoy this great expansion. but then again not everyone like world of warcraft.

So, yeah. Improving your reviews: Proof read. Grammar check. Spelling check. Fact check. If you can't do this, then find someone else willing to. I think someone offered earlier in this thread. Other than that, a couple of your reviews made me laugh a bit, so you can keep going with them in my opinion, but just improve them to the standard where people can criticise (or laugh with) the actual content rather than it's bad spelling and grammer.
