I was genuinly speechless when I read this.

He's dead, that's bad. If you're dead too that's worse, not better

He hasnt done anything in years so how could people see his death as a schock, when i first heard i was like "michael jackson? ohh yeah" since he pretty much has fallen in and out of favour in the public eye.

Maybe these people just needed and excuse to kill themselves? more plausible than MJ dieing, he wasnt exactly a saint either.

It was really swine flu that kill MJ. Obviously the media doesn't want to hype this swine flu thing up and worry the public by making it out to be this huge crisis[/sarcasm]

What gets me is that you people don't think that people are retarded enough to kill themselves over Michael Jackson's death without a link.

Police are going to blame it on the buggy.
Apparently he had nothing in his stomach except pills. He had lost most of his hair and was wearing a wig. Something went wrong.

Anyway. Wow. Even when people's life partners die they don't kill themselves. Thats just... weird.

Gotta love the Darwin spewing dipshits plaguing this website. Ayup.

If you're just going to be an asshole, why bother posting? This is tragic. The last thing we need is you pricks acting smug.

What the fuck?

I don't think he's acctually dead.
It's a ploy to get out of his massive amounts of dept and earn shit loads from the album sales increase.

Plus everyone hated him not that long ago, why does everyone suddenly love him?
Everyone didn't hate him and then suddenly love him, only the majority of hypocritical assfuck cunts in the media.

I've been a fan since 1980s, saw him live in 1988 ( I was 8). Never doubted the man's innocence, the only things he was guilty of were stupidity and lack of understanding of the majority of people's social norms.

Michael did not have a heart attack.

He had a stroke in the child ward.

No, it isn't - but he didn't have your average baldness where it starts at the top or whatever. He had the - something is wrong kind of baldness.

You mean the 'chemotherapy' baldness or the 'leaukemia' baldness? The kind of baldness that doesn't look like it got there gracefully?

I love when people hear about the deaths of others and make smug references to natural selection. What makes them think they're somehow pinnacles of evolutionary fitness, eminently worthy of passing on their genes, isn't exactly clear.
I am not sure if I am the pinnacle of evolutionary fitness, but the fact that they killed themselves makes me far more worthy/capable of passing on my genes. And the reason why they did it makes me believe the gene pool and society in general will be better of now.
Really? And you know this how? Many people that were called geniuses committed suicide or otherwise died young due to stupid decisions. Hemingway, Kurt Cobain, Mozart, and Alexander the Great leap to mind. Who's to say they didn't possess some genetic boon that far offset their suicidal tendencies?

Seems pretty stupid to me to take from these people one glaring flaw whose causes you don't actually know to be entirely genetic, or even genetic at all, or if it were the degree of heritability (unless you're an expert in the field and neglected to tell us), and extrapolate that into an assessment of their overall genetic worth and fitness you've no real basis or qualifications for making. And by 'pretty', I mean 'really'.

Oh, dear. People are dropping the Darwin Bomb.

It's all "improving the gene pool" this and "natural selection" that and "no more dumb offspring" the other thing.

Why not present mature statements?
If these people are fanatical enough to kill themselves over this whole thing, then I'm not going on a crusade to stop them, but these people could have been productive, intelligent human beings. And don't forget, they're not only destroying their own lives, but they have families and friends who will not be getting griefless sleep for the next few days.
It more goes to show they know absolutley nothing about Darwins theory of natural selection, just trying to use an intellectual platform for some pseudo phillosophy genepool garbage because it sounds cool.

This is one of the most stunningly idiotic, ingnorant posts I have ever read.

Many intelligent, reasonable people suffer from depression, psychosis or mental disorders that robs them of thier perception of reality and emotional connections.

You should eat some humble pie and go educate yourself.

Idiot.

My sister suffers from depression and my father suffers from psychosis.

Are you saying they should both die? Because I will have to break off your fingers and plug every hole in your body with them if you are testifying to that effect.

Somehow I think the world can survive without people willing to kill themselves just because a celebrity died.

EDIT--No matter how influential they may have been on a person. George Carlin meant a lot to me as someone aspiring to one day have enough funny things to say to be a comedian, but I didn't off myself when he kicked off (obviously).
