The only reason they are still selling is because every ones Xbox's are breaking and instead of paying 120$ and wait a month they just go and buy an arcade console.

You'd be surprised. People enjoy playing those Xbox exclusives so much, it seems like they'd buy the next Xbox even if it shot them in the leg every time they turn the system on, just so they can play the next Halo installment. I don't know how else to put it.Jeronus said:

Well just by going on other articles and posts made on this forum I would have to agree. The 360 is the only balanced console especially now they got the RROD in order. The Wii lacks power to do much. And what little power it does have isn't utilized by 3rd parties. The PS3 is a monster but few have been able to tame it. Once (or if) they invest the time and money into figuring it out then we could see more amazing games. Then we have the 360. It is like a pair of favorite sneakers. Sure they might look like hell. They occasionally need to be held together by a piece of gum and duct tape.But they fit and are comfortable. They didn't include fancy bells and whistles or try to reinvent the sneaker.
actually it is true, it only outsells in the USA, in Japan it is being killed by the ps3. kotaku posts weekly sales and the 360 is the dead last in last every week, with a couple exceptions when a new game the Japanese like comes out. the ps3 sells at least 2-3 times more 360 on average in JapanSparrow Tag said:

Look, call it arrogance or whatever you want; as a company, Microsoft is sort of obligated to pitch itself like that. It comes off as sounding very full of themselves, but in all honesty I don't blame them for using this as an opportunity to market themselves. The bottom line is that every corporation is out to make money.
I find it rather remarkable that the 360 has succeeded as much as it has considering the somewhat hilarious amount of hardware issues the system has. I guess this is a testament to the 360's admittedly large appeal.
