According to a recent article in the Financial Times says that microsoft is bribing sites so that they instead use Bing over Google. Their first victim is News Corp, which is the third largest media corporation in entertainment. The talk are slow right now(they should stay that way) but are gaining pace.

I'm pretty sure that people say "Google this" for a reason, google is the most used search engine. Microsoft may be a big company but bing is far from the best as far as a searchengine.

OT: I seriously doubt multi billion dollar Microsoft can kill off equally multi billion dollar Google. If it comes down to a poo slinging war I say let them get on with it and waste their money.

this has been M$'s buisiness model for ages. It hasn't worked as far as search engines go, at lest as far as their last couple search engines go(love how they keep rebranding them). I can't see how this one would work any better than any previous enigne.
