It's amusing to me that even if MS revealed the console cured cancer, people would still be like

"Well they were pro-cancer in the first place, I don't care about the cancer thing I'm still getting a PS4"

I have come to the conclusion that people aren't very objective any more. I'm personally waiting til release to see what we end up with then making my decision. I haven't pre-judged anything as of yet.

OT: This is fantastic news for Indy devs, even Kotaku's comments section is full of XB haters praising MS for this.
or maybe, you know, people will not magically flock back to the person that was beating them up yesterday just because they promise to play nice? If you tried to scam me, im not trusting you regardless if your legit or not. and it is good that people dont like Microsoft for what they did. history should not be forgotten.

Before long, they'll backpedal so hard they'll be releasing the Xbox 360 all over again.
They did [http://www.ign.com/articles/2013/06/10/e3-2013-new-xbox-360-model-revealed]

You know, I'm starting to think the xbone was all Mattrick intentionally buttfucking Microsoft since he knew he was getting the golden parachute out and now all the shit is getting about faced as the people left realize what a turd he'd left.

Honestly, despite this news being good, I'm concerned the XBox Cloud will even run properly. They are doing some major back-peddling here in order to please their disillusioned fans, that's no small feat. When this console lands in gamers hands, I wonder if it'll be buggy and full of errors for things that were scrapped, but then, I'm no hardware expert so what do I know?

I follow most Xbox news thess days, just to see if every thread about a very positive thing starts with a hater comment, and whether or not there is a word "fuck" in it.
This one does, and there is.

So the XBox One has more indie support.

That's... good I guess? Never really considered indie support to be a key component of a console.
I think so. Problem with publishing through companies like EA is they will charge up the rear making it very hard for small indie companies to get their game out on popular systems. Now that they publish themselves you open to market to fresher ideas that may keep the game market going and provide new interactive experiences. Indie support is absolutely necessary.

I'm glad MS changed but I'm still not getting a Xbox One. Here's the problem some are missing. It's not the fact they backpedaled and changed all this s*** for the better. It's really good they did. It's the fact that they started off intent on screwing the user as much as possible through god awful restrictions. Then when people openly voiced concerns about it they said f*** you right off the bat. No comment about looking into the possibility of changing things, no attempt to reason and appease just straight up go f*** yourself. Then when things started looking bad pre-sales and review wise they completely changed.

It's the fact they were so ready to screw everyone over and be completely content with it that bothers me and makes me not want to touch their gaming system. Simple fact is you don't bite the hand that feeds you. Even worse you don't bite it and then come back begging for more and act like nothing is wrong.
