£64? That's a fair amount of money it's roughly two-five games bought a month depending on how those who spend £64 a month spend it.

My last 30 days in gaming spend:
Yu gi oh 5ds (£8)
Beyond Good and Evil HD (£8)
Bioshock 2 (£7)
AvP (£12)
Just Cause 2 & Ass Creed 2 (£30)
Madden 11 (£21)
Total=£86

Didn't realise it was that much.

My last 30 days of gaming consists of Star Ocean and Prey from Blockbuster's pre-owned section, coming in at a grand total of £7.52.

If I spent £60 a month on games, I wouldn't have that £60 to spend on Transformers, damnit.

I probably spend about £15 a month on average myself, but I know I should be spending more; get some more variety. In fact I havn't bought a new console game this year come to think of it. If I buy a new game though it's very hard for me to tear myself away from it and I end up sidelining coursework and everything.

£64 sounds a bit much, but I guess considering gold membership and DLC I can see how it's possible.

I guess it depends on who they ask. I own a 360 and have only been buying something like one or two games a year on it for a while.

I would kill to be able to afford that, hopefully when the job boat sails in, I can start living like that.

Hmm... £36 for me. PC, not XBox.

City of Heroes subscription (primary account) £10
City of Heroes subscription (secondary account) £10
Costume pack for secondary £6
Fallen Earth subscription £10

Since I overdid it so badly in the Steam sale at Christmas I have very little need to add to my single player game collection for the rest of the year... with the possible exception of one or two anticipated new releases.

I bought Red Dead off eBay for £18, and then Undead Nightmare for however much 800MSP converts to, so I wouldn't say I was anywhere near £64 for this month. But I guess that's the thing about averages, they very rarely represent an actual average person in the category.

In February I spent $15 on the new NBA Jam and that's it, so I don't spend nearly that much a month.

I'm so happy, I found Generations Kup and Scourge and Reveal the Shield Jazz Friday and they were on sale for $6.99 each. :)

I can't say I spend that much EVERY month. All depends on what's released I guess. That'd probably get me two brand new games and there's very rarely two out in one month that I want enough to buy from release.

Last month I bought:

Killzone (PS2): £9 Ebay
Killzone 3: £38 Amazon

So £47, not bad.

Last 30 days? I have spent £0 for DCUO, then £0 for a 3 months worth of game credit ... I love saving points and trading old games in.

My last 30 days spent on gaming is... £0. Damn, I need a fucking job. It's fine though, I'll be pre-ordering Skyrim soon for my birthday and LA Noire is on pre-order already so I get that about a week before my birthday. I'll probably also be able to get a pre-owned copy of Dragon Age: Origins for my birthday so that'll keep me going till I get a job.

£64?! do they think we're made of money of something? That's over £750 a year, not an insignificant amount of money by any ones standards. I for one don't spend anything like that much. In the last two months i have spent exactly £0 on games. I would be interested in finding out how they came to this figure...just who are these people?

EDIT
Oh and any one but me think that this doesn't bode well for the pricing of games in the future?

What cheapskates, I'm not a 360 owner and spent £100 on games that aren't out yet this month alone! HAHAHAHA!

Seriously, though, I had been saving since January and ordered them today. Duke Nukem Forever: Balls of Steel and Portal 2. Also the Death Note movie.

Calumon: I don't get money, and I don't own an Xbox. What do I spend?

Jack: You spend my money. -.-
