"Worst thing since Hiter." Did you really just say that? I'd understand if you said you feel strongly against Nintendo, but really?WouldYouKindly said:Who gives a shit? Everyone knows that the Wii is more geared to kids and casual gamers and that they're literally rolling in money because of that choice. I could call nintendo the worst thing since Hitler and they wouldn't care all that much because they have more money than god.
I totally agree with this; I think it would improve the quality of the consoles in their own areas, rather than lead to constantly trying beat the other consoles at their game.Seieko Pherdo said:I personally think the whole arms-race mentality of gaming corporation can go die in fire.
Copy?? Really??? Umm you should take another look at the Wii and the Kinect. I don't see any Wii games with voice controls. Anyways Nintendo copied Atari because the 2600 and the nes both used controllers duh!!!!Daystar Clarion said:Nintendo have success with motion controls. Sony and MS try to copy that success with Move and Kinect.
I love the hypocrisy.
Who came up with motion controls isn't the issue.squid5580 said:Copy?? Really??? Umm you should take another look at the Wii and the Kinect. I don't see any Wii games with voice controls. Is it?? So the Wii attracts people who would play a game like Mass Effect or Ghost Recon? Or maybe the Kinect is trying to expand to cater to both types of audiences like any and all consoles should.Daystar Clarion said:Who came up with motion controls isn't the issue.squid5580 said:Copy?? The issue is that a member of MS bad mouthed Nintendo even though Kinect is clearly a cash grab at the type of audience the Wii has attracted.
This is a very good point. I suspect it will be similar to the hardware issues.Verlander said:I'm waiting to see how Microsoft handle the recent hacking sprees...
And it's just a massive coincidence that both Sony and Microsoft brought out a motion sensors around the same time and a few years after Nintendo?squid5580 said:Is it?? And that is the Fox method of quoting. Read the whole sentence and don't just take a fragment out of context.Et3rnalLegend64 said:"Worst thing since Hiter." Did you really just say that? This is like the guy trying to act cool after his girl has been taken away and he runs into her and her new beau at prom: pathetic.shophius said:So during an interval at E3 there was a clip of an employee at Microsoft stating why gamers should think twice before turning to Nintendo. This did nothing to help Microsoft's conference in my opinion, infact it cheapened it if anything. His critical approach was unstructured and too colloquial, it almost seemed as if Microsoft were papping themselves a little bit about the quality of their show. So baring in mind Microsoft's core audience probably will not be transferring to Ninty anytime soon, what did you think of Microsofts' criticisms, was it necessary and did it achieve anything in your opinions?
