Harrison claims Microsoft has learned from its mistakes - or, as Microsoft would prefer to think of it, taken on feedback that indicated it was too far ahead of the curve - and changed its plans accordingly. "We think that's a good thing,"
Meanwhile, at Valve.

And that Microsoft, is how you do Sharing, no 24 Bullshit check-ins, no fucking over the entire userbase for a single negligible 'advantage,' just a nice simple opt-in. There was literally no reason why you couldn't done this with digital games.

Wait, Titanfall doesn't have a release date yet? What games are available on launch?

Captcha: dalek asylum (this geeky captcha almost makes up for all the advertising ones)
What? gg valve wins, and when the steam console comes rolling around I think Microsoft will definitely not be "winning" also ya , that's pretty good, I've mostly gotten American? products I've never heard of :/

I don't know that it will fail, but I'm pretty sure it's coming to PS4 and MS has simply paid for it to be a timed exclusive to the XBONE (and 360, and PC), and then paid a bit more for Respawn to not say that it will be released later on the PS4. This is EA we're talking about. Does anyone honestly see them making a debut title for their Respawn studio exclusive to a single major console? The console with the smallest install base? These are the guys that release Madden titles annually, turned Dead Space into Gears of war, and then microtransactioned the hell out of it. EA's all about the dollar. No way did they go through all that trouble to grab the infinity ward guys from activision, pump god knows how much capital into their new studio and this new IP, and then are gonna sit back and say "yeah, release it on XBONE only. It's cool."

Does anyone remember Hydrophobia? How it came out on XBLA first, and then a much better version was released for PS3 after the XBLA fans pretty much paid for the right to playtest it? Bet that happens here.

Microsoft... If the future is going to have consoles and other devices that shut down because arbitrary restrictions aren't satisfied, then that's just another reason to hold back. Seriously, stop being so fucking arrogant and just admit you tried to implement DRM that's been proven not to work on single games onto your fucking CONSOLE.

And Titanfall isn't even an Xbone exclusive. Why oh why are you pretending otherwise...

that really depends on how much microsoft paid them.
EA could support Xbone out of principle due to its restrictive nature. they wanted the whole always online thing to suceed and could have banked on it a bit too. Also the way EA eats studios they may have created a studio for this single purpose and going to bancrupt it if it fails anyway.
Beside, its on PC so that going to hang around anyway.
