My middle name is Winslow. I don't mind it. While growing up, though, references to the show Family Matters where inevitable. The name just never seemed that common.

I was actually named after the man Edward Winslow. He sailed on the Mayflower to America and did some important work with the natives. I believe he translated the Bible for them, as well. So, at least the origin is pretty cool.

William. But - but just say Liam if you have to say it at all... please...
If I was a boy, I was going to be called Jack William... I didn't really like it, but thinking about it, it's quite cute.

I lucked out when my mother picked my middle name, "Michael" whereas my father picked my little brother's middle name, "Rudolpho" poor bastard...

Michael. I like it. About as much as I like bookshelves. It's there... and it helps me with a very narrow range of things... and I'd rather have it than not.

My middle name is Lee, named for a mass murderer in my family tree. It's one of those "remember him so that it never happens again" family traditions... there's a male with that name (first or middle) in each generation of my dad's side of the family.

Ladies and gentlemen, my great-great-great-great-great grandfather [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_D._Lee].

I do, D'Aundra. I like it, but I hate how it's spelled because no one knows how to pronounce it (it's spelled that way for a reason).

Mark. Kind of boring, but I'd feel like a bad person if I changed it because it's the name of my dead grandfather. Oh well. If I could choose however, perhaps...hmm...well, needless to say it would be something ridonculous.

Actually almost all the girls I know have one of 3 middle names... Nicole, Ann, or Marie.
Funny stories about Nicole's. My sister is Nicole, who's dating a girl named Nicole also (preferred to be called Nikki.) My cousin just married a girl who's name is Nikole (perffered to be called Kole.) And my fiancee's middle name is Nicole. A bit strange.
My middle name is Scott. I don't think it fits well but w/e.

Gregory. It's my dad's first name, and I dig it. My dad used to be like Superman to me. Now, I'm just really proud to be his son.

My middle name is Eileen. I was seriously going to start using and have people call me Elly when I moved in with my dad to go to college, but the neighbor's dog is named Elly, so I had to nix that plan. As soon as I move, I'm using it.

It's also what I tell the people at Starbuck's when they ask my name. It makes me feel special to hear them say it. :D

Mine is ELLSWORTH!

Awesome.

My parents told me they almost named me that for my first name, but then I would have been a III and my mom thought that might be bad.
