I am listening to the original power rangers theme as I post this. And it is hitting a nostalgic chord with me. So I'm wondering, Do you have a soft-spot for the original Power Rangers?

Power Rangers were the shit back in the pre White Ranger days. Whitie marked their decline for me, but they were still great back in the day. Nowadays they just suck.

I never could get over the fact that he was the new guy yet somehow got the best weapons, the only chest plate, and was automatically the leader.

You think that is bad what about this?

Power rangers were awesome. Now they are just kinda ruined. Like the simpsons they should have been dragged behind the shed and put out of my misery.

oh yes, I used to love the original Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers. I shame myself to say though, I also watched Power Rangers: In Space, and Power Rangers: Lost Galaxy. I though that they were a rating of "meh" compaired to the first. I watched no "Power Rangers" ( as if they deserve the term) after that.

I have original Green and Red Ranger action figures sitting on one of my shelves in my bedroom.
So, yeah I say it hits a nostalgic note with me...

Although I'm a major nostalgic fan of Bucky O'Hare above all else. My collection proves that much.

The other Shelf contains: a Bucky O'Hare action figure as well as Dead-eye Duck and the dog character I always forget the name of, Two original TMNT toys an Energon series Optimus Prime, complete with trailer filled with those vechiles that made up his huge limbs and a old-timey Tails plush doll.
I've also got a VHS tape of three Bucky Episodes knocking about somewhere...
As well as the Origin story episodes of both TMNT and Power Rangers.

Also my Green ranger figure has his hands in the air in a 'boo' like fashion whilst wearing Billy De'wits mask from Bucky O'hare whilst the Red ranger is posed in shock and surprise...
If I can ever figure out how to get the images off my phone I'll post 'em...

I still have the Ninja Megazord, Shogun Megazord, Ninjor, Serpentera (parts of it at least) and Thunder Megazord and Tigerzord in my garage somewhere.

They aren't in great condition (some of them) and the packaging is shot to hell, but I could probably move them if I wanted.

The original power rangers were awesome. The series that have been americanized after that have been just awful, especially the new one, RPM. The only other season that was as good the original was Shinkenger. Of course that'll probably never come to America, and if it does, it'll be bastardized amazingly.

I know right? Now, I myself am white, but I find it offensive that whitie was automatically given everything. As a white guy that works for everything I have, I really hate that stereotype.
