A few people have already said a bunch I would put in, so ill just add some that people didnt.

Hedwig and the angry inch.... I never thought a movie about a sex change gone wrong, german imigrant, turned ripped off punk rocker could be so damn entertaining...

Bad boy bubby... this movie has such a big impact on me, I saw it when I was about 10ish and loved it then, loved it now.

Pi... Darren Aronofsky true master piece, b4 the wrestler, b4 requiem for a dream, this is his first and by far best.

Hiroshima mon amour... I only saw this movie about 4-5 years ago, but I have to say I was blown away by it. most people dont get it, but if you do, you will be amazed and moved.

The Crow - made me believe some things were worth living for.
Se7en - taught me my sins
Boondock Saints - it's good being bad
Matrix - major mindfuckage
Enemy of the State - don't trust anyone
Braveheart - grown men can cry
Night Watch - people can see my dreams and nightmares
The Usual Suspects - and then poof, he is gone
Bladerunner - am I real?

I think Fight Club would have been more mind blowing if someone hadn't ruined the ending for me, but it was still an excellent movie. For most mind blowing I'd have to go with Mon Oncle d'Amerique(1980). It's a French film that tells a story about three interlocking characters based on a professor's theories on human behavior patterns. Some parts are really funny, and some parts are really sad, but it provides a fascinating view on life.

Donnie Darko, Fight Club, Jurassic Park, Falling Down, Forrest Gump...
to name a few that come to mind immediately (or have been named in here and I agree with!)

The Matrix truly changed my life, along with Tyler Durden's immortal wisdom in Fight Club. However, when it comes to mind blowing cinema, the original Star Wars takes the prize in every category. You just can't mess with the Force.

Boondock Saints and Fight Club.

Every time I watch Boondock Saints I wanna go kill some bad people
Damn i saw yours right before i clicked post... We're blood brothers
Would've expected someone to have Fight club and someone to have Boondock Saints, but both and nothing else, thats awesome. Wanna go kill bad guys?

"And Shepherds we shall be
For thee, my Lord, for thee.
Power hath descended forth from Thy hand
Our feet may swiftly carry out Thy commands.
So we shall flow a river forth to Thee
And teeming with souls shall it ever be.
In Nomeni Patri Et Fili Spiritus Sancti."

Nice avatar btw
Let's do it
You're up for the biggest job, theres only 6 million people in Denmark where i live, and a kinda low crime rate, and you're stuck with USA... At least you can legally get a gun, thats not possible in Denmark... guess i'll have to garrote them with guitar strings or something... but i'll come help once i'm done with Denmark.
Or you could just do what criminals who really want a gun do and illegally obtain one. You would be wearing you naiveness like a gay man wears a fashion accessory if you if you truly thought there where no guns in a country just because the politicians make them illegal. It is just going to cost you a bit more so your not going to carry unless you really need to.

Oh i know theres guns, and prolly also how to obtain one, but still, it owuld be more bad-ass to garrote them with a string... any guitarists got any recomendations as to which string to use?
