Oh GODDAMNIT.

I had just started constructing stuff in 1.8 and you're telling me it's already gonna be obsolete?

Kinda sad they decided to split the patch up AGAIN, into 1.9 and 1.10, oh well like the new stuff so far.

They did?

Well, it'll probably get released quickly, much to the modders' sadness.

Oh those people at Mojang are pretty crafty guys, leaking their updates themselves :D

Should prove to be interesting.

I wonder if this is going to be the new thing. where each update is leaked to draw attention.

...

Though I will admit, its nice to have the update so soon after 1.8. It may not be official yet (which means I still get to have some fun cleansing empty villages with fire), but its nice to get theupdate of villagers so soon.

Why are people upset that there has been a patch release already?

Maybe its because i dont use mods, but its really stupid to complain about new patches..
Kinda like complaining when the patches are too far apart.. Only more unjustified..

It probably is REALLY frustrating to have your mods all broken before they were even fixed.

There are a few mods I run that are invaluable, and every time that Minecraft updates it breaks them. Mind you though, I'm not complaining, not about the update itself anyways...

WHERE THE HELL ARE MY SKILLS NOTCH?!

Now that I've got that out of my system, here's to hoping that 1.9 official gets bumped out quickly so that I can get the Aether, my minimap and Timber back up and running.

I think it's more for testing, rather than attention.
Previous patches have been chock full of bugs; this way you can choose to test out the new content early but have more bugs, or to stick with the stabler release and wait for features.

As much as all the cool new stuff looks, I think I'm going to hold off; still not done with all the cool stuff in 1.8 yet.

Well, gasp, you don't *have* to update.

It's a pre-release intended for testing.

I hope this update will still work with my 1.7.3 world.
'cause 1.8 worked.
then 1.8.1 came along and screwed everything up, while 1.8 vanished, forcing me to stick with 1.7.3.

seriously, this better work, or I'll be mad.

Well, i guess thats the joy of running mods on an unfinished game.. :p

I get that it its annoying, but i dont think people should complain about it..
Even if they should complain it should be to the modders, not Mojang..

It's really frustrating when your mods haven't updated yet... and it's even more frustrating when you haven't updated your mods either!
