I don't think it'll get nearly as many, since everyone who wanted it would have already bought it, and anyone who hasn't bought it is going to be looking at a price hike.AlotFirst said:I wonder how many sales it will get once it releases... :?Vangaurd227 said:Really? awesome! 3 million before the full version has even come out yet....THATS AMAZING!

I don't think it'll skyrocket, because anyone that wants Minecraft goes and buys the beta, I don't think people are waiting on the full game, the beta is regarded as the full game, it just evolves now and then. I'm looking forward to the adventure update myself, once all that is added I think Minecraft will be pretty much finished, except for debugging. I'd be happy if after the adventure update, Notch and co just concentrated on bugs and performance.AlotFirst said:I wonder how many sales it will get once it releases... :?Vangaurd227 said:Really? awesome! 3 million before the full version has even come out yet....THATS AMAZING!

OVER NINE THOUSAND!
You can register to the website without buying the game. There's also a free classic version people can play.HooterNanny said:This might just be me being stupid, but, it says on that page that only 25% (roughly) of poeple who are registered purchased the game. Does that mean loads of people have pirated it?
Not exactly. The number of registered users that have not purchased the game are free to play users. They have access to the free to play version of the game, which is purely a sandbox version without any sort of survival features.HooterNanny said:This might just be me being stupid, but, it says on that page that only 25% (roughly) of poeple who are registered purchased the game. Most likely, it never will. Notch talked with Value about putting Minecraft on Steam; however, the cut of the sales they were asking for was not acceptable to Notch. For him, it's much easier to just have people go to his website. They don't need middle men when the product is so simple.bam13302 said:imagine what it will do when it hits steam, or D2D if it already has 3 million preorders
