What are some of your most impressive achievements?

I have to say that my sky fortress is pretty cool.

A little small-ish, but I made sure to decorate it nicely and managed to plant a massive forest in the sky. Seriously, these twenty odd trees have pretty much fused together into one massive sky tree.. thing.

And then there was my mansion which I built into the side of a mountain.

Of course, it's pretty much ruined now, as I seem to have nuked the surface with TNT and such.

I also made a little temple-castle thing on a sheet of ice somewhere.

I was gonna make it my home, but I still like my sky-fortress.

So anyways, I'll stop rambling and you can post if you like.

I have a troff filled with lava for unecessary item disposal. That's about it, but I'm hoping to one day make a solid gold house.

Well. There's a Visine for that I'd imagine.

On a more serious note, you can probably find a Gondor replica for download on the interweb somewhere.

I made a ATAT from Star Wars with a snow speeder getting it that was pretty cool. I also made a wizard tower and I liked that but it got deleted.

Made a pretty nifty airship once, then the guy who ran the server I made it on stopped running the server and I was sad...

I built a tower that touches the both the sky and the bedrock with glass floors so I can see all the way to the top or bottom by looking up or down respectively. I've also learned the maps don't much help with height perception, seems to render from an ambiguous ground level and on, because my golden chapel (2nd widest thing I've built) doesn't show up, just the layers of stone foundation leading up to it.

I am presently mimicking the chinese in building a great wall as high as the chapel around the land I've leveled with dirt.

An obstical course with a mob spawn point at one section and a lot of death traps with a glass ceiling to watch and taunt the hopeless things. I feel like GLaDOS. XP

i once built this house with windows and stuff, took like a whole 15 minutes.... put that in your pipe and smoke it.

in all seriousness, i once built a gi-fucking-gantic wall with all the names of the players on the server embedded into it with lightstone, took me SO long and then we changed maps so it got deleted

needless to say i spent the next few days in the fetal position.

Nothing special. I have a six story castle with a tower that's under construction, but it's nothing worth putting into detail.

Well I did build an underwater house made of glass. Probably nothing special. Did start off as a "I wonder if I can make it". Needless to say it now has an underground farm and the house itself is sparcely decorated, nothing special. I tell you this now...I had to make some 'minor' alterations when a lovely little creeper found his way in...

Me and a friend once built a fucking gargantuan arena. Actually, it was 5 arenas in one building, all with different gimmicks. There was the Soul Arena, made of soul sand and therefore hard to move and fight in. The Arrow Arena, with buttons around the walls hooked up through redstone systems I will never understand to dispensers which would shoot you if you strayed close. The Lava Arena was a simple one, just random 1x1x3 pits in the ground filled with lava, basically an instakill if you fell in. There was the Ice Arena, obviously made of ice. The last one was the Main Arena, about 5 times as big as the others and it was just a large sandy area with rooms in the walls containing mob spawners. Zombies and Skeletons would shuffle out for the combatant to kill. When we had all that working, we built enormous stadia around each section of the arena, all linked up by a very clever system of paths, tunnels and one-way doors. There was more, too.

It was amazing. Literally jaw-dropping stuff when we finished.

And we never used it once.

I made a semi-automatic reed/sugarcane farm that lets you hit two blocks and break every reed and then sweep them into one block for collection. The only non-automatic part is that you have to manually replant it.

I know it isn't as impressive as some of the stuff other people have done, but I did it after only owning the game for a week, and without help from my friends, so I'm quite proud of it.

I built a tank out of cobblestone once, it didn't do anything really, it just looked cool. I'm currently in the process of building a large mansion out of wood. It's not spectacular by any means but I am putting a humungous amount of effort into it. It is taking me so long to harvest the necessary materials i'm amazed I haven't run out of patience and give up on it.
