Minecraft Delayed AGAIN!!!

I just found out that the Minecraft Adventure Update(1.8) has been delayed to September 12th(Monday)

I KNOW RIGHT!

Jens(Part of Mojang AB) announced that it would be delayed earlier today.

Personally I'm P*****. Not only has the Adventure been delayed again(last time was July) but it was one day before release. Really?
I'm sure that there were good reasons behind this and it is only a week but delaying last minute like that isn't cool Mojang.

It was never confirmed as the 8th to begin with, as far as I know. They speculated that it was going to be the 8th, but I ever saw it confirmed.

no, you're right, jens mentioned that date in passing on twitter and ppl latched on to it so notch then clarified that the 8th would be the day that jens would announce the actual release date, presumably having reached a milestone in their dev cycle that lets them set a hard target.

the amount of nerd rage on the linked site, and this op, is both hilarious and disturbing..i will never understand the level of entitlement these ppl have.

Dude, it's a small game that got turned into a worldewide hit almost overnight, made by like 5 guys that are too busy enjoying all that MONEY you gave them for being beta testers for an unfinshed game. Which you all knew was unfinished when you brought it and knew it would take years for the thing to be finshed, polished and out in a retail box as a standalone game bundled with a soundtrack CD, poster and a creeper plushie.

It doesn't say it will be released the 12th anyways. It says it MIGHT be released so it could be 5 days or it could be 2 weeks. It will be ready when they feel it will be ready. Patience young ones

Seriously, good on Mojang to delay it. Means there's less chance of bugs in it.

And I'll point this out while I can, Minecraft is in beta, people who bought the game are, essentially, beta testing it. Therefore, all their doing is witholding tests for players to tell them the bugs, I don't know, the few MILLION [I think] testers out there.

Only one thing to you. Mojang, my message.
