Would you happen to know of any good multiplayer servers for just vanilla survival?
Well I haven't played the multiplayer, since I'm just not a multiplayer kind of person, well not in anything besides RTS and Shooters. I'm even a solo player in MMO's.

Now as far as I know, I don't think there is multiplayer survival yet. (I could be wrong, if I am someone please correct me.)

As far as I know, the only thing that is multiplayer at the moment is just the construction aspect of the game, where you have all resources at your disposal from the get go, and you just build stuff with people.

Again, I could be wrong. If I am, it is because I'm not a multiplayer person, and out of the videos I have watched, I haven't any that showed multiplayer survival.

I play on peaceful then I mine.

You see, my game is glitched or something and I can't hear any sounds except breaking blocks and footsteps.

That means Creepers, zombies, spiders, water, lava... I can't hear it.

And seeing how I don't have any updates since before the Halloween one, it won't get fixed.

So I end up getting a shit load of artifacts. Then I start huge elaborate projects and never finish them.

I mine, and make a lot of houses.
I just finished an open plan modern style house and I love it.

Love exploring too - my current world is crazily beautiful!

I like a pristine landscape, so I don't actually build much above ground.
Usually, it's a temporary shelter until I can start up a grid mine underground, which then becomes an underground complex complete with farming etc.

Activities on the surface is usually along the lines of taking epic trips just to find the tallest mountains to jump off of.

I make sky houses.
Seriously, like, It's all I do.
Though, I'm progressing onto sky castles, and then maybe even sky villages.
I just made my first sky castle, if you don't mind a tip build yourself a terrace and plant a few trees on it. I also use a single column down into a walled mine with a ladder on it for minerals, that saves ever having to risk enemies just for a little stone. The only walkway onto my castle is made of wool and goes up under the castle's floor and emerges inside the castle. That way I can take my emergency flint and burn my bridge from inside my castle.

Yes sirree...everything's all so very idyllic when you have yourself a sky castle.

EDIT: I don't know exactly why you needed to know all of that. I think I'm just proud of my castle.
You know whats genius about having a castle in the sky? You can laugh at all those pleblings who dig into the mountain.

Haha, such barbaric fools.

You know what else is genius? You can drop stuff on them! Or you can make access only possible by building a massive tower of blocks, then burn it down when you're inside so they have to run around getting dirt to build their own tower. Then when they get far enough off the ground...you start dropping sand on their head! Or you can pour water on them and they get a choice between drowning or falling.

Seriously, who'd build on the ground?
I mean, building a giant water tower, riding a boat up it, then removing the source blocks has never been so simple.

Well,I like building watchtowers using cliffs and mountain tops as foundations, but also massive undergrounds halls.
I like my mines nice and tidy, with nice large halls leading to hubs, with plenty of light and enough signs to get you to hell and back without asking yourself if it's indeed the right way.

I just put the game on peaceful and use my imagination to make relatively architectural home. (non symmetrical)

I never bought it, so I just play the free singleplayer.
I just explore, walk around, explore underground.

I should try the free multiplayer.

I explore, mine and build, but I do my best not to ruin the beautiful landscape.

I tend to build underground houses or houses inside cliff faces.

Im currently building a huge castle and im planning on finding a nice valley and building a town inside it with the valleys hills acting as a naturally occuring wall to keep my imaginary townspeople safe.

I researched a bit and there is survival multiplayer, but the players need to create their own servers, you also have to know the servers ip to join... kind of pain in the ass and pretty hard to find people, so if anyone wants to play, my server ip ist ":25565". Vanilla Survival.

I dig. Seriously, I haven't built a thing yet. All I've done so far is went into the side of a mountain and started digging and continued doing this for several hours. I've gotten to the point where my mine is unreasonable and I get lost in it. I've collected so much cobblestone that I have to just throw it away because there's too much. I might start building things in the sky just to get rid of all my extra stuff.

The game lets you do a lot and a little at the same time. Building is limited only by your imagination and relative lack of content.
... and by a height of 128 blocks from "Bedrock" to upper limit.

build railroads and trainstations with redstone control centers. build a 16-bit computer.
