I'd like to see more ridable animals like a Horse or dolphins.

For a somewhat different monster Notch could add a half block big monster that burrows throungh soft materials like gravel, sand and dirt.

I'd really like to see some sea monsters. That would be super cool. I also like that idea for a burrowing monster, but make it a big one that creates a furrow in the ground as it travels and swallows you whole. And make them appear only in the new desert biomes.

Personally I want powered minecart tracks that propel the minecart riding on it to top speed.

Best idea ever. Im thinking giant burrowing crab/worm or something of the like. It could craft out massive tunnels, with a limit to how many it makes, and then traverses pre made tunnels. Free path to goodies but a nice way to get eaten whole. Maybe make it lava proof, and that only hitting it in the tail or mouth will kill it.

My friends and I have been talking and we all agree that the zombie would be alot cooler if it could infect other mobs.

Personally I'd like to see a craftable bed you could use to let the night pass.

And maybe make the path in a way that allows other monsters to follow behind it. It'd be like a Tiberian Sun engineer rush... I know it's not the best idea, but I really want something to challenge the fortress I spent so much freaking time on. I took the fun out of it by building it in a way that I knew would outsmart the AI, instead of one that would be subject to actual siege. So boring.

Yes but it would be on the track itself.

You could just use auto cart.

I'd rather have roller coaster type boosters.

Ok, how Dyes could be implamented;

Say a blue flower was added, you would add a red/blue/yellow flower to a piece of wool and you would get a red/blue/yellow piece of wool, you could add these wools to each other to get 2 pieces of orange/green/purple wool and then adding white wool to any of these colours would give you a lighter colour, adding up to 12 different wool colours;
Red, Pink, Blue, Sky blue, Yellow, Peach, Orange, Light orange, Purple, Lavender, Green and Lime green.

Friggin Marble or something. I want a WHITE material that doesn't catch fire, melt or crumble if you as much as look at it... I've built so many beautiful things with white materials in them, but they are so feeble and building something with snow/wool just isn't the same as using something nice and solid...
