Technically you can build anywhere, but I recommend you get some space, otherwise you aren't going to get anything cool done. Central Town for instance is incredibly built up. I'd use a bit of intuition there; you can tell if something you build is going to be in the way.The Austin said:
We do have claiming rules. If someone claims land they put a border of cobble or something that shows it isn't a natural formation around it to show it is claimed land. All you have to do is make sure you aren't building in someone's claim, otherwise they have the right to knock whatever you built in there down.

There is a man, whose name is lost in the piles of undead in which he vanquished. He is know only by the weapon in which used to decimate the armies of undead; Knife.
Stories of his past are sketchy and best but there are some facts; Knife was an experimental super solider trained to fight the undead hoards, of the chosen few selected into this program, only a handful survived the brutal training. Those who did where the best of the best, inspiring Mankind's solders with the brutality of their fighting prowess. Knife was the most ferocious of these solders, his skull engraved helmet sending shivers into the spines of Man and Undead alike.
But even these mighty warriors could not stem the undead and these warriors fell one by one. Finally, at The Slaughtering of New York, the last of these mighty warriors, Knife, was cast into the ocean when Creepers destroyed the city.
Knife floated in the ocean for many days and many nights, washed up on the deserted island where Korten's tribe had settled, not long after Tea founded Justice Town. Several days past uneventfully until another resident by the name of Benz asked Knife to help him create Injustice Town. Knife happily accepted and built several buildings including, Knife's Blacksmiths and The Evil Castle of DOOM hotel or ECDH.
However, when exploring the caves under the ECDH, Knife found an outcropping of 8 diamonds, as exited at the find as he was, he became lost, spending several days eating nothing but mushrooms. As the days wore on, he became slowly insane and when he emerged, he?s appearance was radically different, gone was his armor, replaced in favour of a green shirt and purple jacket, upon his faces face was the likeness of a clown, with red lips, a white face and green hair.
His sanity slowly returned, and he kept watch over Injustice town in Benz absence, he also regularly spared with ReaperOfDeath. Upon Benz return he decided to found his own town and after many days of searching he came to a hill north of Mountbatten's estate and founded Tree Town.
Tree Town, or though seeing its share of fires, prospered and Knife retired to watch over Tree Town and help his friend Ricky construct his Castle of lava, during this time he was accepted into the M.O.D.S. Courtesy, a few days after Skunk, Olend and TheMQG founded Pandora. Knife was see near the mountains near Pandora, what he was working on is as mysterious as name.
And that is the story of Knife, believe what you will, but know that it is all fact.

FallenProject?s Rise To Fame.
FallenProject, was unheard of (well, to me anyways), ?till yesterday. I decided, to the saga of his existence.
FallenProject, was born in the city known as Tree Town in Escapia. He wasn?t born in the poorest of families, but not the richest either. His father had died in the war, and his mother ~ was a survivor (and most of the his mother?s side survived as well. They took care of him, and with so many family members taking care of one person, Fallen grew up to be a wonderful fine boy. FallenProject had a knack for creating massive art projects, even at such a young age. He drew up massive plans about things he would make in the future. A particularly notable one is a Giant E, a monument to his father, as we only know his nickname: Esmeralda, Bringer Of Justice.
In school, Fallen did very well in art, as in Design and Technology. In his school, he became highly prized, as he drew up accurate, and very beautiful artworks, of anything. Of course, this meant he was also a very high value target. Day after day, he was beaten up, and his artwork was stolen from him. He was on the verge of suicide, when Lord Mountbatten, ~ a fine fellow of justice, if one has ever seen. Lord Mountbatten, saw what happened to this poor boy, and he burned with the fire of justice. He took the boy, (having the power of the M.O.D.S) and educated him instead.
Fallen?s family, slowly died off, and soon, when he was around 15, he was the only one left in the Project family. Fallen, again was taken care by one of the M.O.D.S, Hax. Now Hax, just like Fallen, was a fine artist, and he became well known in the society as the one who created Yahtzee Croshaw (A fast talking, British based Aussie), who was a mighty fine fellow. Fallen, now had someone to share his passion with, and the usually talk hours on end, about 1 single subject, such as how to make letters only using cloth, and such.
Soon, Hax, now believing the boy was old enough to care for himself, said : ??Fallen, I know you like it here, with me, but you must walk into the world, explore new things, and have some fun?. Fallen, now aged 18, walked out into Central. Although, he thought Central was a great place, he deemed it too crowded, and there was too much monuments here.
Luckily for him, this was the around the time that the Warping Technology, (which was discovered by Beltom, along with some other technologies was developed). So, Sneaky, announced that since this area was so crowded, he would make ( or explore anyways), a new world. Fallen, was one of the more intrepid, curious explorers, and he set out towards this new land.
When he was there, he saw nothing, but a giant empty field. Perfect for what he was planning to build. Days, and weeks passed, and Fallen worked on his massive projects. He completed the Giant E, that was a monument to his father, and he finished his massive abode, with a greek styled structure. He becamed famed throughout society, and he almosted rivalled that of Hax ( who was very proud of him).
He is currently working on a giant Kitten, requested, and funded by our mighty founder, Sneaky, the giant Kitten, is currently hidden, and it will have a opening procession ~ to honor it's awesomness.
