This was awesome, I have yet to play an Assassins Creed game, but your songs make me want to get around to doing so.

I heard you found this game disappointing, so what gave you the inspiration for the song?

Actually....

Not Going into Details, But Later in the game Serveral of the issues you mention do come up, In-fact bits of history that's normally glossed over such as Slavery and quite critically the salting of the Tribe lands come into focus and the whole fuck yeah America does drop quite quickly as Conner becomes aware of being used.

While the story does venture into 'Merica Fuck yeah Territory, it does lose that aspect a little bit after. I'd Honestly stick with it, Heck I'm British and I got what they where doing with that tone.

Needs more wubstep!

Seriously though, good stuff.

Although, I have to ask: I thought that you had to wait to put your songs up on YouTube, yet for the past few (if I remember right), they've been up on YouTube the same time/a bit before they were put up on the Escapist?

I'm freaking out here man. Are you referencing a certain song/songs apart from the obvious Blood of the Creed parts? I swear I've heard this before... weird.

Other than causing me an obsessive mental breakdown, I like it.

I prefer Blood of the Creed and Shadows in the moonlight more though. Then again I didn't really like Blood of the Creed at first and now I love it, so consider me undecided :)

I think he did that by himself.

@Gav: To help the escapist's views?

The Escapist changed their Youtube uploading delay time and as a result so did I :) Better arrangement for everyone, the Youtube views feed into here and vice versa!

Very good song. It makes me want to play Assassin's Creed 3. It also makes me want another album to buy. How long can we expect until Gavin reaches Level 3 anyways?

I really liked assassins creed 3 until it turned into "MERRICAH!!! **** YEAH!!!" the game
I'm sorry but i don't have allot of interest in a patriotic wank fest especially with all the rampant ahistoricism i.e. completely glossing over the atrocities the Native Americans suffered and how 25 % of the colonists were loyalists.
It may change later in the game but i just got sick of it.
To reply to your spoiler comment:
There are parts where you do kill bluecoats for missions, and towards the end Connor becomes extremely disillusioned with George Washington and left his cause to defend his people, and threatened to kill Washington if he tried to stop him from leaving.

The game does eventually show that yeah, this conflict wasn't just a one sided AMERICA!!!! game but it takes quite a while to get to that point, and even at the end, everyone still hates the British...

OT: Awesome song Gavin!!! another really great one :)

Not exactly my kind of thing but everyone likes it so it's probably just me. That said, it feels like you're trying to balance the whole sailing themes with the relationship between Haytham and Connor and I feel like it diminishes the latter element. Also, the lines from Blood of the Creed felt awkwardly crowbarred in.

This was brilliant! Even if I could never get into the sailing portion of the game completely, the story you told and the underlining chants in the music blurred together to great a great number. Made me remember why I actually enjoyed the first 2/3 of the game before having it fizzled out in a sad WTF moment.

that was really a good song. military, pirate and native american mix was very well put together.
part 3 was good, but not as good as part 2.

Innovative and original! Fantastic song, I have to admit. All the elements were spot on in their places. The chanting in particular was the cherry on top of it all. Marvelous work.

Superb!

You managed to salvage the one great part of this messy game and turn it into a thing of beauty (thant will be stuck in my head for the rest of the day!)

Wow Gavin, I think this might be your greatest song yet. The amount of detail that's gone into the arrangement of this is outstanding, and you've managed to put a load of different styles into a mixing pot and not come out with a mess, but an enjoyable and musical hybrid. Yeah, I really liked this one.

"Musket guns and silver slivers..." MoS: Like a Marksman with a Microphone.
Loved Blood of the Creed, very apt for the game.
Loved this, too; completely different to Blood of the Creed, but equally appropriate for ACIII.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm off to buy this song.
