Mirrors Movie-A Original Concept

Plot Summary (Wikipedia): Ben Carson (Kiefer Sutherland) is the head of security at a department store plagued by unexplained deaths. In addition to issues concerning the deaths, the store is also the target of demonstrators who seek compensation for a tragic fire that killed staff. Ben eventually becomes intrigued by a disturbed woman who claims she is his sister who died in the fire. The woman is exacting revenge, using mirrors as a gateway back into the living world.

My question to you is, are you interested in seeing this?
In my opinion it looks awesome.

Oh, and I really don't think Sutherland is that great of an actor. Who's directing?

Well, I can't argue the "unoriginal thought plot" but it doesn't sound interesting enough to run to the theatre to see it, or rent for that matter.Maybe if basic cable shows it in five years? How long does a dept. store stay unopened after a fire destroys a store and kills some staff? Do the remaining staff continue to work there after people start dying everywhere? A little far fetched.I hope it doesn't turn into one of the many paranormal films of late where a ghost kills random people in revenge for tragedy that transpired on location, where main protaganist slowly unravels story to save co-actors and the ghost is laid to rest...

It sounds like countless horror/thrillers I've seen or read about... Keifer Sutherland can be a good actor, and other times he can be totally crappy... Based on what I've read here, I wouldn't care if I didn't see it... but if it gets good reviews or the trailer has some potential, I'll definitely revise that opinion.

Sounds ok, but I'd argue the "orginal" bit. It's a haunted house story with nobs on.

as for the topic, yeah it sounds like a typical horror movie, i'm pretty sure something similar has been done before

Keifer is definately not the great Donald... but he's definately a B+ List casting, seeing as most horror movies can only manage C or B list actors. Still, not that original, the portal to the afterlife has been done often before.
