I enjoy fighting games and sure everyone likes to see new intresting fighters once in a while, but watching rayden beating the crap of the joker its a lil bit to much.

What i want to say is do we really see a compatibility with this two universes, Mk its the classic kick ass fighter and Dcu presents us different intresting characters with great stories.

So what is your opinion about this game?

I don't play fighters, but the prospect of kicking ass with the Joker to a comic book nerd like me is interesting.

I still wouldn't shell out $60 for it though, maybe when it's $20.

Well, I think it sounds like fun. I've never played fighting games because I wanted to hear great writing, so I'm willing to overlook the absurdity of Batman punching the snot out of Sub-Zero in order to return stability to Earthrealm and find a way back home to Earth 1 or A or whatever it's called these days and just enjoy it for what it is: Batman punching the snot out of Sub-Zero.
Also, Joker's fatality is badass. Can't really turn down an offer like that.

Really, though, I don't get why some people have such a hard time accepting the concept of a cross-universe fighter. Nobody complained when Solid Snake came to Super Smash Brothers Brawl, and I'm fairly sure I heard cheering when Sonic joined up..

AS it has already been said, not worth the 60 bucks. Interesting concept to say the most. They just don't seem to fit into the MK universe and I mean, Superman losing to Johnny Cage or someone like that? Thats just silly. Unless they all have Kryptonite on them, it just doesn't make sense in the game. And if you strip Superman's powers, then there isn't really anything super about him, now is there?

There's no such thing as a good Mortal Kombat game.

That's why I'm not expecting much of this either.

they could just come up with some deus ex machina like they did with Superman vs. Predator (he got a facefull of a space virus and was severly weakened). I'm guessing they're gonna throw some magic curse supermans way about 2 seconds into the game.

I don't really see this as going too far. I mean, we've already seen Marvel and Capcom characters beat the crap out of each other, and seen Star Wars characters in a Soulcaliber game. This doesn't seem like a big deal at all.

Cases and points!

It's just a simple case of 2 companies getting in on the success of previous crossover beat 'em ups ain't it? Well, that and the creativity in our media has been circling the drain for a few years now, drowning themselves in the mentality that everything has to be remade, crossed over and re-marketed until nobody wants it anymore.
