You've clearly never played Hellgate: London... Trust me, it works for a while, but after about 5 hours, you get bored.Lord Thodin said:YES YES YES YES YES YES YES!!! Thats almost exactly what i would love to make of an MMO, sept instead of first person id want third. And the starting City would be small, and the outside world would be ENORMOUS!! It would have what you said where the zombies would come from the unconcentrated areas, but it would have a good version of Age of Conans failed attempt at "capture a land, fortify it, and make it a castle". In this case its take a house, fortify it and fend off Zombies. Take over a neighboorhood, fortify all the houses while helping out the NPCs that would spawn there and any low levels who needed the protection, AND STILL FEND OFF ZOMBIES!!! A game done something to that effect could cost 50 dollars a month and id pay 100 to make sure that the servers never went down.Darkblaven said:Can this MMO be a first person shooter?
If so then a zombie apocolypse game where your in a city, and if you go out of the city walls zombies everywhere! Just trying to rush you, but their easy to kill, but if you concentrate on only one area they'll come out of the areas you weren't concentrating on.
I havent but trust me, i could make it work. I didnt really explain it in detail because i would make it deeper than go here, kill said baddy, bring back his mutated radiated finger for some money to buy a better stick thats no better at killing zombies. My thought process on the subject of said game idea runs deeper that the rivers of ancient ................some biblical reference there, but the point is if done correctly i could see it being the WoW killer. And no im not just being optimistic.Daedalus1942 said:You've clearly never played Hellgate: London... I played it for like a week, and quit because I found that it didn't require a brain to play. Not that I've ever played an MMO that I thought did, but at least some other MMOs have some level of tactical expertise required instead of just macro strategy.Glefistus said:I play EVE Online. It actually requires a brain to play, so not too many people stick with it.

Hey... that's not fair, I personally think that Guild Wars require a brain to think. It's not an easy game, especially when you hit level 20.Pellucid said:I played it for like a week, and quit because I found that it didn't require a brain to play. Id love to see a Gundam MMO. I always adored those bastards in the show with those giant robots and the power to do just about anything. I cant see the game being very challening though.....the final suit would be a Gundam suit with all the best attachments........wouldnt you just fuck up any of the characters from the show that i would presume would be bosses?Ghadente said:a Gundam MMORPG
Resident Evil, if done right
oh oh, and Toejam & Earl (some kind of awesome retro-remake of the original)
any MMOrpg that would have kick ass combat/fighting capabilities, say in games like Prototype.
I always thought that mixing/crossover games were interesting (ex: marvel vs Capcom, Kingdom hearts)... imagine if you could combine every game together (at least all the decent ones) into one giant universe of an MMORPG
