Modern Warfare 2 on XBL is starting to suck

I recently have been playing modern warfare 2 and while i have something to play, i find myself not being very enthused with it. it is the overpowered shotguns, the glitches, and lagging.
i also do not like the other users on xbox live. for every good gaming partner i find, there are at least twenty squeaky voiced chattering infants who treat the game lobby as their own private masturbation session. i can live with the other stuff, because that is fixable by the developer, but i wish that xbox live users would grow up. i want to play some modern warfare and i dont want somebody singing in my ear.

i also dont like those who take advantage of glitches like the javelin glitch, the care package sprint, and the plethora of other things out there.

am i being overly critical?

edit: i think that they should not include a mike with every xbox 360

most of the glitches you mentioned have been patched. I own both a ps3 and a 360, i play MW2 on my ps3 and it is playable now. Glitches have been fixed. Akimbo is pretty annoying, wish they never included it. I would never play MW2 on the 360. I wouldn't say you were being overly critical at all. I feel exactly the same about CoD 6 and xbox live in general. I was expecting so much from this game and it has come up short in almost every area. Sure the campaign was brilliant, but multiplayer as you say is laggy, unbalenced, full of 9 year olds and glitches. I have infact stopped playing it only a month after having bought it.

well whatever game you play where there are mikes available your always going to get stupid immature people, the thing i don't get is why do they not allow xbox live parties into games it would just mean your listening to your own friends rather than people who have nothing better to do than annoy you!

On the glitches im sure people would be working on that to fix them.

the people are what pisses me off most. i actually prefer NPCs to a lot of people on XBL, isnt that sad?

Why not just laugh off the idiots?

At some stage I just accepted that people are morons and nothing I say or do can change that, so I'm better off to just not get worked up over it.

I quit MW2 a month back because it was making me rage, but that was more on a technical standpoint.

I may go back and give it another try when the map packs arrive but I'll never again get really into online gaming, it's just too much rage.

Look, the glitches have been fixed and there is a reason that they included the mute feature. Just mute the annoying kids. Lately I have come across alot more mature people who will actually say "good game" after a match whether they win or lose. Its pretty rare but most of the annoying toolbags have tired of the game and moved on, thank god for that.

PS...if u dont like the game go play Halo, I hear it's the best new game around

In the right lobby it can be fun. I haven't played it in awhile though, so the standard 150% increase in quality due to nostalgia may be in effect.
