Few guys at School got it today

One went home in his free to play it.

I'm waiting for Christmas.

I swear I'm from the Baby Boomers generation. I have a Waste-Not-Want-Not, Mend-and-Make-Do, Jazz-loving, Swing-Loving, Empire-Nostalgic, Likes-old-cars-and-clothes, Wears-a-Trilby-and-RAF-Greatcoat, James May personality who has LEARNT to wait patiently for things I cannot alter

and if you're a PC gamer you might as well wait: As Bowling noted, the PC version of the game will remain locked and unplayable until then.
This is incorrect, the PC version will not be unlocked on steam for 3 more days. So much for his "pc version is not delayed" bullshit.

Yeah, I can't wait either, going to check the stores for it tomorrow.
It's nice to see some game retailers have a soul.

You must be my long-lost twin brother than. I'm so saddened that I can't wear a trilby and a nice coat.

Anyway, I expected it to arrive today as well, seeing as the shop I bought it send it early in the morning. I guess it'll be on my doormat tomorrow, but I can wait. It's not like I haven't got anything else to do or something.

11/9

Remember the day that game prices were doomed to increase. There are no words for what I feel now. Remember 11/9, and keep it in your heart always. That is all.
Hell with that a Shopko in my area was selling them on 11/6. My dad bought his already fro PS3 but isn't playing it until tomorrow
But 11/6 isn't NEARLY the implied reference to 9/11 that 11/9 is! Why would there be no words on 11/6, that just doesn't make ANY sense. I stand by my current state of wordslessness
I'm saying that the day that game sales began to increase on the 6th not the 9th
I'm saying that day doesn't work for me, so screw you, 11/9
Agree to disagree
Well actually if you rotate the whole "11/6" upsidedown you do get ( 9/11 ) upsidedown 6 does look like 9.
Good call :)

And this damages Activison... not at all

So what the game got released a day early, I dont see any negative effect other than people are, godforbid, playing the game?

Offtopic but if ODST got a 9.5 from Gamespot, I'm expecting no less then a 12 for MW2.
It could have bugs that crash the game and make your console spit fire and smoke for pressing the fire button and it would still get straight tens.

Street Dates suck... I personally believe that when the retailer purchases an item, and the item arrives in their warehouse/retail location, they should be able to sell it whenever the hell they want.
