Let's make a compromise: By the end of the year, it's either going to be two pillars of gold......or ONE pillar of gold and another pillar of PUDDING, if MW3 tanks(forgive the pun), which I'm adamant is not, in ANY way whatsoever, even "improbable" at this point. Guess we'll see. Also, if shit hits the fan, can Blizzard cut their losses and run for the hills? Just blissful thinking here ^_^ItsAChiaotzu said:Yes, although, hanging by a thread is perhaps not the most apt metaphor. How about suspended above two solid gold pillars? That would give more of an indication of how well they're doing.GrizzlerBorno said:Can someone clarify this for me: Activision is hanging on by exactly two threads right now, namely: MW3 and WoW, right? If MW3 tanks, Blizzard will officially be the only thing keeping Activision standing, since the latter shut down Guitar Hero and haven't released any other successful game since Blops? Or is there something I'm unaware of?
And, I'm not getting it. I'm not getting it. I'm not not not getting it. I will not subject myself to that disappointment again.
Oh dear, now I'm hungry for ... a pillar of pudding I suppose.GrizzlerBorno said:Let's make a compromise: By the end of the year, it's either going to be two pillars of gold......or ONE pillar of gold and another pillar of PUDDING, if MW3 tanks(forgive the pun), which I'm adamant is not, in ANY way whatsoever, even "improbable" at this point. And you could do what I plan to do. If you too, are mildly interested in seeing how the story resolves itself (or maybe they're not done milking it dry yet?), but care not for the MP.........just watch a Single player Walkthrough/Let's play after launch. CoD SP is basically a action film minus the voiced protagonist, with absolutely 0 "choices" or divergences in the story, so I don't see how a good LP won't show us all the sights and all the action for absolutely free?
Everyone know that it wont tank, just because it's a COD. The same reason sports games don't tank, people buy them because of the brand, no for content, gameplay or anything else. Hopefully BF3 really gives them fight in the market so they start innovating.GrizzlerBorno said:Let's make a compromise: By the end of the year, it's either going to be two pillars of gold......or ONE pillar of gold and another pillar of PUDDING, if MW3 tanks(forgive the pun), which I'm adamant is not, in ANY way whatsoever, even "improbable" at this point.
