just got my copy of Jam in the mail. I was thinking of getting Mogworld as a gift for my friend and holy crap what is up with the price?? I do hope that it's just a mistake, but if it is not, I do hope no-one orders the book for that price, because even though I endorse yathzee, my guess would be that most of that mones goes to the seller.
So get the book by other, legal means for a more sensible price.

That's insane, considering I bought my copy for a cool $8 when it was first published just two years ago.

It's a fun read, but it definitely isn't worth $378. I'd suggest checking out your local bookstore instead.

This makes perfect sense and happens all the time.
You see "amazon" has sold out. Because of this other business see this as a great opportunity to bump up the price to ridiculous amounts since apparently you can't get it anywhere else.

Her book is currently worth(highest price mind you) $1,500, while the lowest price (recently got new stock) is a mere $30.

No it did not.
I only got a pet dragon, a free Elixir of Immortality, a Rocket-Propelled-Chainsaw launcher, three coconuts, a wheel of swiss cheese, two baguettes, a roll of toilet paper, 2 1/3 cups of coffee and complimentary blowjobs from Yahtzee and Jim Sterling.
But then again, I only paid retail price for it.
Seems like you got ripped off.

Wow you ain't kidding. I mean I just check Amason UK just now to check on his other book Jam. Jam was only around £5 while Mogworld is from £80 (used) to £100 (new)!!!

But I assume something similar to the above happened with Mogworld - it's just a price bot. To be honest, it just hasn't got a clue, it has gone slightly mad. Ha ha ha ha.

Looked at Dark Horse & the book is currently unavailable. I's guessed it was just a limited print run & with the audio book & Jam interest has suddenly jumped. Dark Horse needs to print more copies.

Thats insane! The most I've ever paid for a book is the Persona 4 artbook and that was about £25. Worth it!
I just checked the UK amazon and its £101. You could get it off the UK one for a third of the price

It's what happens when you wanna buy it off (random) people rather than off a store (I bought it when it published, paid less than 10 quid for it). I saw this same thing happening with the old Alice horror game, it was going for some 500$. Did Yahtzee make this exclusive through Amazon? I'd have thought you could get this easily in US, but I guess if it's an Amazon-exclusive, it'll be more difficult to get your hands on it.

Could get it as an e-book? I know it's not the same feeling, but short of paying upwards of 100$, your only other option would be to look around for a sane seller.
