Goddamn. I got my copy for £7.99. I feel lucky.
Sucks to be you man, the book's awesome.

Get it, shop around, but get it. It's worth it. I'm sure you can find it for less. If not... :/

When i originally put the book up it was the cheapest by about $5. Kinda of a "oh what the heck i could use the money" thing. Didn't actually think it would sell. Am I a bad person for doing this? (i know it's only about $40 & that's nothing compared to $600, but still)

Well worth the price if you ask me!

What? Didn't your copy of Mogworld come with a free Elixir of Life, pet T-Rex and complimentary blowjobs from the finest women in Brisbane (and Yahtzee)? Must be just me then. Or it was a dream, one or the other.
No it did not.
I only got a pet dragon, a free Elixir of Immortality, a Rocket-Propelled-Chainsaw launcher, three coconuts, a wheel of swiss cheese, two baguettes, a roll of toilet paper, 2 1/3 cups of coffee and complimentary blowjobs from Yahtzee and Jim Sterling.
But then again, I only paid retail price for it.
Seems like you got ripped off.
I only got a spork and a signed copy of The Room by Tommy Wiseau. Fuck.
Getting anything associated with Tommy Wiseau would be reason enough for me to dissolve everything it ever touched in a vat of acid.
I would have to be very careful not to touch it.

almost 700 bucks for a book?
Really?
REALLY?
Pfft, that's cheap

I like how it costs that much but they still have the cheek to charge $3.99 shipping!

That's just jackass private sellers jacking the price up. Ignore them. Eventually you'll locate a reasonably priced copy.

I normally recommend eBay in these cases, but I only found one copy there - brand new, priced at USD 49.65 plus postage. Still way better than Amazon, at least if you're in a hurry, but I think your best bet is to wait a bit and see if Dark Horse prints more copies. Given the book's popularity, they probably will.

I ordered Jam and Mogworld from Amazon UK (I also bought The Alloy of Law and The Way of Kings part 2) and I paid a tenth of that (actually slightly less) and now the price has sky-rocketed up to $162. I guess he's becoming popular enough for his books to sell now that his second book is out and it's just out of stock. If you don't mind audio books you should look into that. You can probably get a good deal if you sign up to a month of Audible and pay like $10 for it.

Well, shipping for free, would just be a disaster - imagine the masses of people who'd say "Woo, free shipping!" and go and order a dozen books. That's the seller paying out of their own pocket to ship the goods. Once they run out of money, they'll have to start selling all they can to afford to service customers - blood, livers, hearts, lungs. And let me tell you, the black market doesn't really pay that much to make it sustainable. So they'll have to sell more. And let me tell you something else - it's not easy living without blood, liver, heart, lungs etc. They will die. Do you want them to die, huh? You wish death upon them? You are a horrible person, you should be ashamed!
