What are some movies that you personally want remade?

For me I'd love to see a remake of Red Dawn [http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0087985/]. One of my favorite movies, I must have watched it over 50 times as a kid.

Also a Free Willy [http://www.imdb.com/find?s=all&q=Free+Willy&x=0&y=0] remake would make my life. If I watched Read Dawn 50 times I've see Free Willy 200 times.

Not that I want it remade, but I want a good Spawn movie. Considering the badassedness of the source material, it's begging to have a good movie, just like it's begging to get a great game. Considering today's technology and numerous talented directors out there who actually give a damn about comic books, it is completely possible to make a great Spawn movie. Maybe Chris Nolan could direct it...

Red Dawn would make a really good remake except you must have forgotten that it will be totally irrelevant nowadays. But I think that most old horror movies should have remakes such as Psycho. I mean, how many remakes have you seen that are really good?

What I wish that the theatres would do is re-release old films in the theatres without doing anything to it. For example, I went to go see First Blood in the theatres and seeing classic movies and such in the theatres is much better than any remake.

Uh...The Super Mario Brothers Movie
I mean, it wasn't horrible...but there are a lot of things technology today could improve on. I dunno, that was the first one that came to me

I'd only name bad movies they should remake.

For instance, I Am Legend needs it. They should start over. That was a good rough draft but let's hammer it down for the final copy!

If I thought hard enough, I could name a few more but that's it for now.

It still kicked Omega Man's ass though

From the parts of the movie that I've seen, I wasn't impressed. I really did enjoy the animated series although I can't say how close it follows the comics etc. A filmed version of Overt-Kill being delivered to the mob boss in a garbage bag would be awesome however.

I also really enjoyed the episodes with Chapel, which as far as I'm aware was absent from the film.

As for my choice, I would have to say X-men 3:Last Stand. I was so unimpressed.

This.

That would be sweet, I'd love to watch the Titanic in a cinema. Course, I never saw it in a cinema in the first place but still...

Wonder why they don't already do that... Too expensive? o_O
I think they don't do it because the theatres have gone to digital film. When I saw First Blood, all they did was project a DVD player. Not even kidding. Either way it doesn't matter. It would still be awesome.

I didn't like the Spawn movie either, hence why I didn't want that one to be remade so much as I'd like a new one. And I agree with you on the animated series.

A remake of Red Dawn would certainly be goddamn awesome. I wanna see a remake of The Good That Bad and the Ugly, my favorite movie EVER.

Anything made by Uwe Boll. Also the Dungeons & Dragons fiasco that came out a while ago.

I could/would dig the thing, but John Carpenter did ALOT with what he had and he made the Thing a GREAT movie, still scary etc.

Nightmare of Elms street could be good for a remake.

Evil dead, lol

Dave Chappelles Block Party, original totally sucked, should've been FUNNY! Damn you Dave with your documentarialism!

No way there are just somethings that you just leave alone because it's as good as it's ever going to get. There is no possible way the The Good, The Bad and the Ugly can get any better.
