I can't see where Notch said he was the little guy. I think it's like this

Stupid people side on one side and troll
Some smart people get tired of it and go against it
Average people, and stupid people trying to be average, side on those smart people
Smart people argue against eachother

Russ Pitts wrote an interesting article that really changed my view about the entire thing: http://kotaku.com/5846111/mojang-v-bethesda-or-i-hate-it-when-mommy-and-daddy-fight

It didn't do it for me. Russ is pretty paranoid about Notch's intentions, when absolutely fucking EVERYTHING I've EVER read from/about Notch points towards him causing this entirely by accident. He should have approached the trademark office with a lawyer.

And besides, Russ's ideas break down more if you believe that Notch offered to give up the trademark, as he claims.

I hated Bethesda at first. But then I realized that they didn't want the lawsuit most of all.

It's not Bethesda's choice to go to court with Mojang at all. It's Bethesda's parent company...
