At the end of the day I would rather have peter molyneux try and make a new experience and produce a gimmicky title than some uncreative waster making a generic military fps any day of the week.
The thing is lately all Peter Molyneux knows how to do is make gimmicky titles that are shallower than a tinker's bath.

To Kinect haters, though: I've not used it yet but from the videos I've seen it's the only member of the motion-control bullshit brigade that looks like it has some potential outside of games where you swing a sword or point a gun.

Dear Molyneux,
For ruining Fable you don't get opinion on anything.
Sincerely, Most people.

They got their thunder stolen by that Leap 3D though, which looks way more developer friendly, is roughly 200 times more precise than the Kinect, costs 75 bucks, can be installed on almost any computer with a usb port, is about the size of an old fashioned pack of gum, and does not pump your device full of crappy ads that you basically paid for to view. Most of the functions in development are primarily used to interact with a computer interface for ease of use, rather than actual gaming, although you can rig games to work with it also.

Dude, you put marriage in the fable series. Talk to me when your projects are more than a black cube with online play where your goal is to click it away.

I agree, but the one weakness of 3D, on consoles, is that you need to spunk a grand on a new telly to use it; I only bought a new HD TV two years ago, it's going to be a long time before I'm willing to buy a new one, let alone pay extra for a 3D one.

At least motion control bollocks can be hooked up to any set-up you've got, but to be honest I'd rather we just dropped all these 'modern' bells and whistles and went back to making games that are fun to play instead of interesting to look at.
