A.) Way to give use something to discuss here. I don't see the point in this thread.

B.) It's a pretty terrible game anyways, she did you a favor.

C.) With grooves, you really can't do anything. Sorry.

I can't believe this thread has gotten to three pages.

What do you want people to tell you, man? Either get the disc cleaned or buy a new one, what do you think your options are here?

I kind of wish my Mom would break our copy of MW2 right now.

My older brother is playing it 5 feet away from meand for fucks sake I wish he would shut the fuck up.

Every 10 seconds it's either "How the fuck did he get behind me" or "Fucking noob toob faggots" followed by a stomp on the ground.

Really starting to piss me off.
You break it. You'll feel so much better.

OT: I have MW2 and I hate it. I only play it because my friends are like "Call of Duty is the best game ever made." First off, that is entirely wrong. Secondly, it pisses me off how biased those fanboys are. I brought up TF2, Portal, and Perfect Dark and they said "We haven't played those, but they suck." Someone please explain that to me. Anyways I've gone off on a tangent. Just like everyone else said, your mom did you a favor.

When I read the title of the thread, I thought your mom broke the game on purpose because of family stuff, and that's just unfair. But this type of thing, I think, isn't such a big deal as the people that wrote the "break her" or "sue her" think it is. It's her mistake, and if the disk is really broke beyond repair, she deserves to buy you another one. It's her mistake she stepped on it in the first place.

So,so about 10 minutes ago i was playing team deathmatch in Invasion.Nothing exciting. They my mom came in,went on about something, and when she was leaving, got her foot caught in my recargable wire that charges the controller. This tiled the xbox over so it leaned against the TV.When i open it,it had two grooves, not cracks, grooves,in a perfect cirlce aroudn the rim of the disc. They do not wash off,and i know they came from the tilted disc drive.Any tips?

Note:The disc still work,it goes to the MW2 menu, but when i try anything,it comes up with the 'This disc is unreadable' message.
Uhh check blockbuster. The ones in my area offer disc resurfacing for like 4 bucks. It might help depending on how deep the grooves are. But make you mom pay for it :D

Count it as a blessing and buy Bad Company.

I hate how dangerous a cd is in the X-box. The First day I got L4D2 my dogs bumped it and it got a circle scratch.

Yeah, I learnt the hard way that moving 360+spinning disc = 360 nom nom nomming the disc.

It's kinda funny, I was playing my good old PS2 once, and some-one hit the chord that connects the controller to the console. That sent the entire PS2 toppling off this half a metre high table, and crashing onto the ground. I freaked out, and immediately tried reconnecting the console. It still worked fine, and the game that was in there while the console fell was fine too. The PS2 may be old, but it's a hell of a lot more sturdy than those freaking 360's.

To be hoenst MW2 is such a bad game "unreadable disc" is probably an improvement.
Not really, I dont have as much fun with any other game.

OT: forget about it. Play something else for a while. Or, go to blockbuster and rent it, swap the games, then tell them they gave you a scratched copy.

Here is the solution: borrow a friend's copy. Install it to your 360 HDD. Use your disc to boot the game and you're good to go.
