Mom broke my copy of MW2...

So,so about 10 minutes ago i was playing team deathmatch in Invasion.Nothing exciting.They my mom came in,went on about something,and when she was leaving,got her foot caught in my recargable wire that charges the controller.This tiled the xbox over so it leaned against the TV.When i open it,it had two grooves,not cracks,grooves,in a perfect cirlce aroudn the rim of the disc.They do not wash off,and i know they came from the tilted disc drive.Any tips?

Note:The disc still work,it goes to the MW2 menu,but when i try anything,it comes up with the 'This disc is unreadable' message.

Try a disc cleaner. You can get your disc cleaned at video game stores for a price. Sometimes for free if they think they might not be able to fix it.

I'd recommend borrowing a copy from someone and then saving it to your hardrive (if you have enough memeory) Then place your scratched disk in. It should work normally again.

if its installed on your hard drive it should work. Same thing happened with my fifa 10.

OT: Best not to stand your Xbox up anyway, for this, and other reasons. It'll stay cooler on its side, anyway. The major cool-air intake vent is on the bottom, and it gets blocked when it's standing. Bad mojo.
