Moments in Games when You (Nearly) Cried?

Mine probably was when I killed the first Colossus in Shadow of the Colossus. Just the direction and music when you kill one, as it falls so gracefully to the ground. So sad. You feel so proud that you were able to figure out how to kill it, but regret killing it. Such a great game.

getting the airplane license in GTA San Andreas. i was literally 1 second shy, over and over and over. I think i sent off a random drunken hatemail to the first Rockstar employee e-mail i could get a hold of.

Well, I wouldn't say big giant kick, but a nuclear bomb did go off so it was probably about as big as that. Also, the little girl scares me so much in that game that it made me choke on my water that I was drinking and my eyes kind of teared up from choking.

I was fucking afraid of swimming in that game.
There came a few parts where I had to swim to get over to another place... but I couldn't see below the water surface.
Nothing ever did attack me, never the less I was scared shitless the whole time.

I sadly haven't finished the game either... dunno where it is anymore, can't remember why I stopped playing...

The part were you incinerate companion cube, I was so pissed off at GLaDOS and so sad for companion cube. Also the end of Half-Life 2: Episode 2. And I was also pretty sad when Bannon died in World in Conflict, I thought he was a coward.

I never got the fuss over the companion cube, it's the same as all the other cubes, it just has a heart on it. I had no qualms about incinerating it. It wasn't alive it was a hunk of metal.

And at the end of Turok: Evolution, becuase I had actually sat through the whole thing.
No, Acclaim, I will not let that one go.

Playing some Thunderbirds hand-held electronic game. You had to control Lady Penelope's LCD sprite car and shoot other cars. When given it by my mum i had just come around from anaesthesia after an operation. I cried for 2 reasons: 1) it was incredibly frustrating trying to play it in a post-anaesthesia-haze and 2) I'd asked for Donkey Kong and was bitterly disappointed. Oh, also i was 7 years old.
