What movie references that only you seem to get?
Jokes that you make or laugh at that only you seem to find funny?
Things you notice in your day to day life that most people wouldn't ever see?

A bunch of Monty Python stuff. Especially from the Holy Grail.
Then there's pretty much anything related to Touhou. In America, that's pretty obscure.
Really, I could go on and on.

When I have names like Hayao Miyazaki memorised and I laugh at jokes about the doppler effect in The Big Bang Theory.

I am ashamed to admit this, but here goes. One time at a convention, me and my friends (who aren't nerds)saw this hot girl dressed as Morrigan from Dark stalkers. The first words out of my mouth? "Wow! That's a really good costume"! Ten seconds later i realized what i had said and slapped myself across the face.

When I start quoting Warhammer 40,000.

I'm proud of my nerdy side.
I just can't stand this combination!

"I'm an enchanter, they call me... Tim."
And: "FOR THE EMPEROR!"

Now that that's out of the way.
I remind myself when I use Magic: The Gathering as a reference in real life.
"I'm late for class, quick! Give me 'haste'!"
"I guess some girls know how to give you 'vigilance!'"
"No, you can't target my answers for these questions!"

When my dad gets a confused look on his face as I use internet meme's in conversation

Example, we were watching a movie, character made a pun.
Me: I see what he did there.
Dad: He did something? *goes to rewind*
Me: No...He made a pun and I caught it. It's a figure of speech

When I completely ignored a naked girl to finish Mass Effect 2. Well...I did a double take, weighed the options, and realized she wanted it more then I did which meant as holder of the cards I could use this. Didn't exactly end well for me but I don't regret it...well maybe a little but the advantage of love is that they tend to give you a second chance lol.

Earlier this afternoon when I saw this image, and sadly got the joke and proceeded to laugh my ever loving ass off. For those wondering, this is the moment when you realize you've been watching waaay to much Star Trek

One for the steampunk nerds, I found myself wishing for a one seated *zepplin*. I could use it to completely ignore the countless idiots I shovel through on the road, and just imagine the pick-up lines! "Hello ma'am, would you care to ride my zepplin?" And of coarse, what would the thing be without oversized truck nuts. To bad its probably illegal.

I do this all the time too. But I feel less nerdy when I do it because I hang out with other people from the internet. Although this in itself reminds me how nerdy I am - when I realise that I'm doing the Time Warp with a bunch of guys in suits and Guy Fawkes masks. And all the times that I randomly go 'it's a trap!' when someone hits on me, heh. Also me and this guy, we always finish one another's Star Wars quotes.

I felt REALLY nerdy when Doomsday Arcade ended and I realized I understood EVERY single joke they made for the entire series.

I was playing Warhammer 40k yesterday with some friends, discussing with my teammate what we should do and why. I began to reference things like ballistics skill, range, and whatever other stats seemed relevant at the time, then realized that I am a huge nerd.
