Moments when you stop taking the villian seriously.

That's the thing, though. I liked the series, but you honestly can't take Light as seriously as a villian after he kills L; that was the big thing of the series at that point, and with L gone, all that was really left was to show Light's downfall. I mean he killed his foe, took over the world, and the series was still going, so that could only mean one thing. The laugh near the end was the telltale sign that "Yup, no way out of this one, he's screwed." Furthermore, on an unrelated note, I also prefered L.MasterRyan said:

Then again, I stop taking all villains seriously when they say "I'm going to destroy the world." OR "Revenge!" Then they don't talk anymore. They don't say WHO they want revenge on, nor do they say why they want to destroy the world. Half the time they want to destroy the ONLY PLANET THEY LIVE ON! I've seen this happen too many times to even care for them. If you want an example, Watch the Yu-Gi-Oh Movie, censored by 4Kids! I did. He was the worst villain ever.
Oh and to name one final person I can't take seriously, that would be Doctor Nefarious. Although, that is kind of the point.

yeah ill always remember that, L was my favourite, and when the laugh came, i was like, well what anime is next cuz light is screwed to hell right now, the three things that annoyed me most were...
1. L died, thats worst, but hey,it took a shinigami to take him down
and light could not do it so he is better than light in my opinion.
2. they never said what would happen when light died, i googled it and it came up that he went into noid (nothingness) whatever the hell thats like, i hoped he would be a shinigami :3
3. was near a girl? or what? ethier way i hate that person
