So, I was just playing Fallout 3, limping home after a long day of breking into houses, stealing all the Nuka-cola, dropping some in a safe place so I could get back home to Tenpenny tower... (This was at Girdershade), when I get jumped by...

Now, I was only level 8, and I was backpedaling furiously. I shot it full of everything I had.
Hunting rifle: Empty
Laser pistol: Empty
Scoped .44 magnum: Empty

I was backed up against a rock, 10mm pistol in hand, when suddenly...
[Dramatic Pause]
Uncle Leo charges in with a magnificent uppercut, smashing the ugly bugger right in the face, sending it flying!

I wished I could have given him something, but in the end, all I could do was take a hand and keep walking...


So, any of you guys have moments which you wish you could have caught on tape? (Or did, for that matter)

My 3 second lag blindfire headshot on Gears of War is one.

Another is on GTA when the guy I was trying to kill bailed out of his car, and in a freak happening my car clipped a taxi, the back spun out and crushed the guy in mid-air between my car and his.

In finals for a Starcraft tournament, I was playing as the Terran, and my enemy was playing as the Protoss.
His base was fully built, with units everywhere. He demolished my base, leaving me with 1 SCV and a Command Center hidden away in the corner of the map.
I built up my base, and had made a full on Assault when he least expected it, winning the match in an epic fashion.

Well, in a round of Rush in Bad Company 2, I had taken up station in a lighthouse and were making amazing headshot after amazing headshot. I think I popped about 7 guys in quick succession before anyone catching on. I did get taken down, but then I had another epic moment at the foot of a hill where I just wouldn't die, and kept taking down everyone attacking us, having to take the gear off my fallen comrades when I ran out of bullets.

Generally when I run out of bullets because I've been using them to kill people, instead of running out because I've been using them to try to kill people, those times I would like to have recorded.

Playing Halo 2 I saw some guy outside of our base with a rocket launcher. Knowing that my friends inside were about to face there doom I decided to try to stop this mad man. I knew my plasma pistol was, for the most part, useless, but luck was with me as I still had a plasma grenade. Aiming as best I could, I took a breath, hurled the grenade, and hoped for the best. As the grenade flew ever closer to the enemy my spirit lifted as the though of actually stopping this guy, this way, was about to come to fruition. That was until, my other friend, who I didn't take into account, made a horrible attempt to try and run this guy over. Yet while his attempt at a spatter met with no success, he did manage to grab the plasma grenade I had just thrown, and then he flew off on to explode a few seconds later.

The kicker of this, I could swear I heard our enemy say something to this effect "Oh wow, all I did was think about that wraith blowing up... and it happened, I must be the matrix."

wow sounds cool i'd wish you did record it. my story is in real life: Some one handed me a skateboard to see me horrably fail (I R no skater) ofc i fell of a small ledge. in my fall i exadentaly did something really awsome, im not sure what couse i was bizzy not dying. But when i faceplanted on the skateboard again everyone was cheering in amasement....it still really hurted tho

There are some damn epic times in Bad Company 2 to be had. I remember getting headshot'd out of the cockpit of a Blackhawk by an enemy sniper. As the now pilot-less helicopter plummeted to the ground with four of my team-mates I could only cheer.

I also remember playing Red Dead Redemption and devoting my time to pushing people over in Armadillo. I pushed a prostitute over who ran up the saloon's stairs, so I chased her, and just as she made it to the balcony I gave her a shove - she tumbled over the railing and fell straight on her head. The best part? As she stood up and continued running away from the saloon, a posse of gang members rode in and ran her over.

In Gears of War 2, I was playing for my first time with a friend. I had picked up some sort of mortar launcher and hiding on top of a roof. I finally found out where he was and watched him run up the stairs towards me, spraying bullets from his lancer everywhere. I didn't know what to do so I randomly launched the mortar and then was downed my him. As he walked towards me to curbstomp me, all that was going through my mind was "Please let that him..." Sure enough, as he was one step away from me, the mortar came down, instantly killing him.

There are so many times where I wish that was recorded.

Team Fortress 2, 2fort, sewer entrance from water. I'm a soldier and a battle with pyro has left me with 40 hp, on fire, with 5 enemies coming at me. instead of running away like a little girly man, I pull out my Equalizer and rush into the sewers.

Around the first corner, I Crit an overhealed demoman, and kill his medic with a 2 hit crit combo before they even knew what the fuck. I turn the other corner to find an overhealed heavy and two medics. Heavy spins up his gun, I hit him once, run around and crit one of his medics. I then jump of the fence thing and hit the heavy with a 2 hit crit combo and then charge his last medic, whom I kill with another crit. I just killed 5 people, in the span of 8 seconds, without even getting touched, only to die right on the Healthkit due to fire.

If anyone is wondering what I mean by 2 hit crit combo, I mean a regular hit, and then a crit. 1-2, with two being a crit.

I once got tripped during football game, and I fell forwards. That fall turned into a front flip and I landed on my feet and kept going then scored.

I'm currently getting my BFA, and as such, even I still have an art bullshit detector. When someone in my class announced he was going to read some of his poetry, I almost died; "She asked if I would ever get out of Dodge. Yeah, I'd get out of Dodge", with all the seriousness in the world. Wish I had recorded his entire poem.
