Monitor issues Round 2

So recently I had a problem with my first monitor because it was extremely blurry. I replaced it with a 19 inch monitor and everything seemed fine. Until greenish colors appeared everywhere.

This only happened a couple of times but now it's getting relentless. I am getting owned by computers this weekend.

Cable issue.

Not being able to see the colours in a screenshot makes me think the cable is dodgy. (The OS copies the outgoing video stream sent by the graphics adapter, not what the monitor actually displays, which in this case is being altered by the malfunctioning cable.)

Are you using the same VGA/DVI/HDMI cable as before? Make sure it is plugged in firmly, or test it with a different cable. While you're at it, check that there's not any dust etc in either the plug or the socket of the card/cable, that may be affecting the connection.

Just buy a new one. They're cheap.
