I am so tired of stupid fucking people injecting their stupid into everything around them to try and prop up their outdated belief systems. That woman is an idiot.

Jesus... Doesn't she realize that you can't have BASIC MATHS if you stay away from 666?
Mathematical understanding and that level of fundamental religious idiocy rarely go hand in hand. She doesn't need to be good at math, because she's got the good book, and Papa Gawhd on her side. Nothing else matters.

In her defense, those energy drinks do taste like what I would imagine high-fructose-liquid-evil might taste like.

I wanted to believe this is satire, but she seems so sincere and confident. It must be awesome having so much free time to sit and ponder these things.

Thank you for the laugh, arc. This made my afternoon.:)

Surely this is a marketing stunt right? It's just a frigging drink, some people have nothing better to do with their time I guess.

Because Powerthirst is for, like, umm, not-cool people. And it's also the tool for the devil. It has the same green as Monster, therefore linking it to the devil[footnote]Source [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.864844-Monster-Energy-drink-is-the-work-of-Satan-Apparently#21599476][/footnote]!

Figuratively?
*watches video*
Nope she means literally : |

In a figurative sense I could kind of agree; I mean the stuff makes a great out when I'm not responsible enough to get to sleep at a reasonable hour and I used it during college to stay awake for dozens of lectures. Nowadays I have them (or similar beverages) before at least half of my shifts at work. The stuff is at least mildly addictive and can cause somewhat of a dependence. People always tell me how terrible they are for my health, but I don't pay much mind to it.

As for the symbolism, I didn't think it was supposed to be a secret, I've read about it before and I figured it was part of their "oh so edgey" marketing strategy. I figure people are entitled to feel offended by it, I mean there's plenty of other symbolism that would be offensive to put on a can. Do I really care though? Not really : \

*Siiiigh* A friend of mine on linked to this video on his Facebook the other day. Unironically linked to it. As in "Guys, Monster Energy might be an agent of the devil!" linked to it.

You know, I'm not really one of those people who get their kicks off of hating on religion, but living in Texas, and now East Texas... Good God, have we got some religious lunatics around here. I went trick-or-treating one year and got a Bible at one house. And then there's the weirdos who stand around and read Bible passages on my campus. Christ.

I can't argue against that logic.

In other news, the Catholic church is trying to subvert your religious freedoms and invade your house through carefully concealed religious iconography.

Imagine the good that family could do if they stopped buying Bibles for children during Halloween...what a world that would be.

Isn't that "cross" she's reffering to, the representation of Phi, the golden ratio? You know, that mathematic unit that turns up ion art, geometry, mathematics, physics, nature, and is kind of a big deal. What exactly would Saten be doing using it?

Ah wait, crazy religious nut trying to find meaning wherever they want, despite any form of logic or sanity, never mind.

I enjoy the RAWBERRY flavor. And running as fast as Kenyans. ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

OT: Well now, isn't that special?
In all seriousness though aside from the batshit crazy being exuded here, I'm actually against Monster and all energy drinks. They're not good at all for you... So in a sense, they are the devil's drink.

I'm not much of a fan of energy drinks, but wow, this chick is insane. Not to point the finger at Americans, I'm not sure where this chick is from, and I know there are plenty of reasonable people in America, but i would be lying if i said American society as a whole doesn't creep me out immensely. The shear religiousness of some parts are so cult like they really do make me understand why some atheists are so militant and annoying, it's like the United States of Jonestown.

I'm fine with people who believe they'll go to some afterlife if they're extra obedient, but the way in which there is so much fear that people will freak out at the slightest hint of Satan, that people actually still fear sorcery and witchcraft and actually believe that the devil is pulling the strings to make us do terrible things, like listen to rock music and play D&D.

I known people say this a lot, but it is the 21st century.

Isn't the number of the devil 616? The number 666 came from a mistake or misunderstanding during a translation of... oh hold on here this is a god bother who's got more nuts that a squirrel crap, right okay lets sit back and laugh instead.

Yeah that was kinda funny
