In any case I can only say loli as based on the Japanese age of consent is justifiably and categorically wrong.

Age of consent in Japan is 13. Age at which the body is actually developed enough for sexual intercourse would be 14.
Characters drawn to look 12 might be fake but there's still something obviously wrong with the guys liking them (and no that isn't based on opinion but rather biology).

And don't give me any slippery slopes about gays. The human species is obviously still here so clearly there's an advantage for a group to have a contingent of gays.

Like post-puberty teens? Sure. Like kids? No. Lolicon is just weird/disturbing. As if the artist can't decide wether they want to cater to pedophiles or to regular... folks. Or maybe it's the audience, the post-teen audience anyway, that is in need of some soul searching about why they dig really young girls so much.

All that aside, I think it's an interesting point.

EDIT: Actually that's also interesting that they bring up "humanoids that appear to be younger than a socially acceptable age". The Japanese use loopholes to push through just about everything. Tentacles came about as a means of technically not showing genitals; monsters, elves and various immortals are all fair game for loli content because non-humans don't age at the same rate; censorship in general is a little... lacking at times.
(was going to illustrate with a link, but they're all thoroughly NSFW - just imagine a girl getting stuffed with dongs but still having a blacked out clitoris and you get the idea)

That was what I was thinking.

Yeah sure, some women look a few years younger than they are (say an 18 year old looking maybe 16 or 15), but we're still not down at the lolicon level where apparently below the biological sexual reproduction age is still being seen as acceptable.
