Monster Musume is Getting an Anime!

So...I have a question to Monster Musume fans.
Is this in anyway like Rosario + Vampire? Cus, I love that manga (not the anime so much).

Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing...or a neutral thing.
What makes MM different?

Rosario + Vampire starts off as a typical harem comedy with some actiony moments and, as time goes on, evolves into a Shonen with the harem comedy still there but not as focused. Monster Musume is a straight-up harem comedy with monster girls. It's also rather charming in a weird way.

R+V started as a harem comedy with action scenes as an excuse to give you panty shots, that turned into a Shonen anime...with panty shots.

MM starts off with the panties on its head, yells "BOOBIES!", tears off its shirt and basically runs around fanservicing everything up while giving exactly -1 fucks. And somehow, remains more charming and funny and interesting than many recent or even past manga.

OT: well the animation isn't bad, but I'm still kind of meh over the whole thing, the manga had an interesting premise but seemed to waste it on the same harem hijinks I've been seeing for the last 20 years.
