I liked the first movie. So chances are this movie will probably be pretty good.

Also, from what I've heard, the original is supposed to be re-released in 3D in the same year.

I dunno, it looks pretty unoriginal to me. Taking an idea that you've already used and then putting it into a less original setting... In a prequel... Without even making any effort to change the characters' appearances.

I always feel this way when self contained stories get a sequel/prequel way later. Seems like they just said: "Remember how much money that movie got us? People will come out to see those characters or at the very least the movie title again."

Haha, it looks pretty cute. I enjoy most Pixar movies, and I did enjoy Monsters Inc. We'll just have to see when it comes out.

I'm observing this with extreme caution. I know Pixar's a brilliant company, but they rarely make sequels for films aside from the Toy Story, and we all know how their one non-Toy Story sequel turned out.
