Monty Python is one of those things that just never fails to make me laugh no matter how many times I've seen it. I just LOVE the french taunter in Holy Grail! I sometimes use the insult 'your mother was a hampster and your father smelt of elderburries' just to see if anyone gets it.

i dont find them that funny to be honest. i have only seen a few clips and the most they get out of me is a little smile. maybe its cause all the comedy today is so influenced by them i feel like i have seen it all before. or maybe they just arent that funny.

The Meaning of Life was terrible. But their other films were great and TV series had some very funny moments.

Stop it!

This thread is far too silly.

What we really need is more people saying why Twilight sucks and asking what you'd do with the last person you killed.

I'd marry them of course. It's the only decent military thing to do.

Now, let's have a decent thread or I'll have to call in the banhammers.

You there!

Yes, you, post a reasonable thread or I'll feed your cat to my horse.
You just won the internet, my friend.

OT: Monty Python is just golden comedy, and I love it. The humor is witty, the sketches are memorable and hilarious, and the parrots are dead. I dare today's TV shows to be as funny as Monty Python.

Opinion 1, Some of their stuff is not top notch, but the next joke usually rectifies that.
My favourite was the funniest joke in the world skit.
