If you liked MOO2 then i recommend WOOF3 or if you dont like the WOOF series go for OINK1 (number 2 was shit).

Also QUACK is good as well.

I think they were mocking you by doing different animal noises.
Personally, I've never played it, just felt like bringing that to your attention.

Space empires 4. try the demo first.

Galciv2 is a bit too simplistic, but it's worth a go aswell.

They're not going to read your stunning rebuttal if you don't quote them.

It's the button that says "quote". Kinda important.

I jest. Seriously though, the suggestions from above posters are the best I could come up with also.

MOO3 has a bad rap because the learning curve resembles Eve Online's curve. (http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3088/2335016192_6003c39c4c.jpg) As you can see the learning curve eventually goes straight. I loved MOO3 and the back story is even better. I would recommend Master of Orion 3 (MOO3).

There are a lot of problems with it; it's tied with HoI2 for my favorite 4X game. Or try HoI2 (or wait a year for Hearts of Iron 3 to be debugged)

MOO2 is probably my favorite game of all time. Its been installed on every computer I've ever owned - all they way back to 1995. MOO3 was a terrific disappointment. I'd love a quality MOO4.

While I've not played it, Sins of a Solar Empire has gotten good reviews.

ps. If you haven't played MOO, give it a go.
