Moral choice, could you make this one?

I was thinking the other day about moral choices. The one I was thinking about was the one at the end of inFamous. Its the one where you have to either save Trish, or save the 5 doctors. Now If, like me, you've played it through several times, you'll know what happens with either choice, just incase you don't:

**SPOILER BELOW**
Choosing to save trish, the bad option, results in the person hanging from the building being some random woman dressed as trish, and she dies with the doctors. Doing the good option and saving the doctors, results in trish dieng as the woman is actually trish.


Now I have obviously made the choice (about 7 times, inFamous is that good) but I went and throught back too it, why does doing the bad thing result in trish dieing? How much more amazing would it be if cole had to deal with the guilt that he did a selfish thing, that means the people of empire city are worse of? I know why, it would ruin the perfect "Hero" score of someone on a hero playthrough.

So I was thinking, if I had to really make this choice, what would I do (obviously U'm not saving trish, Im saving someone I care for deeply). Do I do the selfish and make the choice for myself, or do I look beyond what I want, and do whats good for the many.

So there is the choice, the choice of the self, or the choice of the many.
What would you guys do?

I would have gone with the doctors but then I've never been in love.

Well if we're relating to InFamous, not matter what I do my selfish choice will die.

But if we're not being not picky, I'd like to think I'd make a choice for the goods of the many... as they outweigh the needs of the view.

Honestly I want to say I'd save teh doctors but I know if it happens I would have no choice but to rush to my loved one to save them. Love is a very powerful emotion.

I take trish as a person i care deeply for any one i cared deeply for would want to help the many and not them self.

so i would save many not because i care about them but because the person i care about would want that. and if they didn't then £uck the self centered person. I didn't know them as well as i thought i did

See when I was thinking this over, I was assuming that if I save the perosn I care for, then the doctors do die, and I get them. I would try and do the right thing, but Im just not sure I could watch her die.

I think it would depend on the person I'm saving vs. the people I'm saving... but I've never played Infamous so I don't know who this "Trish" person is... So I guess I'm a bit biased...

But if it was Liara from Mass Effect than there would be 5 less doctors in the universe every-damn time...
