I would pull the trigger, take the money and leave. Without knowing what's on the other side.

I don't think I could, I know the moment I said no that it would turn out to be a chocolate cake or something.Still that possibility that it was someone I actually cared about or any innocent person would kill me inside.

I might do it. I'd need a better reason than just 'here's a million dollars' though. Why is it so important that I fire the gun?

To my mind that's nowhere near enough information to make a moral decision. Who is this person? How did we get in this situation? Where are these rooms? Is there any indication of what's beyond the door (sounds, smells?)

Not a very good question really.

Sure I would. I could just blame him if it ended up me murdering someone, and still keep the 1 million.
likewise, i suppose most 9 th graders wouldn't think of that, unless they were very bad peeps

Basically this question is "Would you kill for money?"
Actually, this is a question of: would you kill for money, if you didn't have to bear responsibility. To which my answer is yes.

No, because, if this man is paying me to do this, chances are he wants someone/something eliminated without his own hands even getting the slightest bit dirty, and I can't support whatever he might have been involved in.

I'd either not do it. Or I'd do it instantly, without a second thought, and cast the thought from my mind, hopefully forever, (difficult I know) so long as I didn't have to find out who or what I'd killed on the other side.

No too high a risk factor for too little payoff, a million ain't alot of money anymore maybe 20+ years of comfortable living? but if that number goes up by another digit then without thinking.
