I think you shouldn't put all officials on one plane. Was it a crash or an attack? If it was a crash, then it's some really bad luck. So Poland has no head of state now? Or an emergency head of state, I presume.
Air crash investigations can take months if not years, especially if the plane broke up in mid air or crashed into water. It will just take so long just to find and catalogue all the parts and even longer the bring them all together and only then can you begin to figure out what in the hell happened.
I am addicted to that TV series "Air Crash Investigation" (aka "Mayday" or "Air emergency" in some places) and read a lot of NTSB reports. Maybe because I have a fear of flying, I fear the unknown and I like to know what is done about it.
But the thing is, air crashes of a commercial airliner in straight and level flight in good weather are EXTREMELY rare, with most disasters happening during take-off or approach to landing. And for this unlikely disaster to happen to such a politically important flight... it has to be incredibly bad luck if it is pure chance.
I'm sorry, but it would be impossible to rule out the possibility of sabotage at this stage. We shouldn't fixate on it, but if it is sabotage, it is the angle that MUST be determined first.
After all, the sooner sabotage is ruled out, the better for all parties involved.
