Those contacts make her eyes seem slightly bigger... that, or she just naturally has big, beautiful eyes. Either way, I saw this on deviantART and it really does deserve praise. Quite lovely.

Water Balloons are nice for recreating Water magic..... but there's just no way to fake Morrigan's original robe with "+8 to magical-Nipple-slip resistance". Or Yahtzee calls it "The power of wishful thinking".
Sure there is, my naive friend. All you need is a bit of double-sided tape and voila.

More on topic: Does she look a bit like plastic to anyone else? It must be the photographer's attempt to make her appear more videogame-like.

I feel like I should contribute something more substantial to the discussion.... but all I can say is that she is very attractive!

Seriously Wow.

I think I'm in love...
No-one tell my girlfriend that I said that.

Sure she doesn't really look all that much like Morrigan but she is breath-takingly beautiful.

Wow, those are some wonderful pictures. I cannot deny that's a damned good cosplay if ever I saw one. But like some of the other posters have said, which I shall echo - she lacks the gothic maliciousness of the original - the model doesn't pack the same menacing scowl Morrigan was prone to wearing.

All nitpicking aside, great photography, excellent subject matter.. just fantastic all the way around. The tumbler galleries are fucking awesome.

3rd picture proves she's more suited to cosplaying anime characters. Her eyes are way too innocent to be Morrigan's. Very nice outfit though.

I thought "whoa these graphics are amazing" before noticing it's a cosplay.

Sweet jesus, i'm in love.

I mean, she looks far too much like a pixie to be even remotely close to the dark, sultry nature of Morrigan, but damn, it certainly doesn't stop her looking like hot stuff in that attire. I suppose the extremely high resolution and altered images probably helps.

Proof that BioWare's character designs are even more garish and impractical in real life.

It's hilarious that still hardly wearing anything but a bra is more practical than the original outfit.

Because let's face it: it was nothing more than nipple tassels and a scarf. Like, really.

I liked that she didn't use PhotoShop to do it
Used Photoshop for everything else though. It's amazing how unnatural these pictures look, more like CGI than actual photographs.
Looks like HDR Photos to me, with camera focus on the foreground (= blurry background). There doesn't have to be any Photoshopping involved. HDR Photos were never intended to look natural, they are intended to bring out color, although there is definitely some post processing work involved (either by camera or by computer software). The tone mapping is obvious.

she looks more like shes Morrigan's friendly cousin than Morrigan herself

she needs to scoul and wear some darker eyeshadow
then she could pass as Morrigan if she was a water bender
