State your Opinion. (Within Question)

[Edit]
No offense, But I didn't make this thing for everybody to say "No Final Fantasy is Better".
Leave Final Fantasy out of this.
I want to know what you thought was good about it.

[Another Edit]
Oblivion was the bastard child of Morrowind, Also don't bring that game either.
Maybe just leave the other RPG's out of it.
I just want to know in your opinion in it was the best RPG ever.
Not your favourite RPG's just this one.

[Yet Another Edit]
Okay i've changed the question.
Simpler.

No...

What... A simple question gets a simple answer. I dont think that Mrrowind is the best RPG ever, its alright i spose and ive had fun on it but it s no way near the best one ever.

Mother has, and will continue to be the greatest RPG series of all time.

Morrowind is good, though. Really good.
It blew my mind back in the day, but I'm hard pressed to say it's the best.

It could be but unfortunalty it was made with some errors.
1. The combat system was pretty much just swing and miss 99/100 times
2. The enviroment was just ash. . . thats it
3. Cliffracers
4. Main story mission was terrible, nobody wanted to complete it
5. Magic Is useless (cept walk on water)
6. CLIFFRACERS!

but the dialog and RPG part of the game is epic

Considering the staggering amount of RPGs out there I haven't played or even heard of, I'd have to say no, Morrowind probably isn't the best. It is, however, damn good imo.

I enjoyed Vampire the masquerade bloodlines more but it was a great game. So my opinion is that it is the second best RPG ever.

Its not the best, but it really was great. It was funny, the plot was pretty good, and you actually want to explore.

It's one of the games that really stuck with me.

Although the combat system sucked. I remember trying to level up archery from nothing and watching a dead hit to a creature do nothing as the arrow went *through* them...

I's good but no. It's blasphemy, but I prefer to play Oblivion to Morrowind. Even heavily modded, MW's gameplay isn't that great as I like to be able to hit based on skill and not luck.

I find it to be a good RPG, just not best. Now if they remade it on Oblivion's engine, that would be awesome.

Good. Yes. The best? Well, no, simply because there isn't really any best. RPGs are highly varied. You're trying to compare very different games.

There's hundreds of aspects of Morrowind that I love, but those same aspects other people would hate.

Being an insecure, noncommittal son of a *****, I would never go out of my way to even confirm something as the best anything ever, but I can say without reservation that Morrowind is right near the top of the short list for the title of Best RPG.

And that's as much as you're getting from me.

This.

People seem to forget that Morrowind's combat system was trash and the only "main" questline worth completing was Bloodmoon.

No. Please don't get me wrong- Morrowind is quite astounding in its quality- Prodigious, even, compared the the rubbish out around when it was released.
But best... I feel Morrowind simply too buggy to be the best, for the same reason that I absolutely despise daggerfall. Sure, Morrowind works well most of the time, but when, say, an entire exterior cell decides to never ever work in that save file again, because... God, I don't even know... I begin to both cry and really miss Ald-ruhn
